Not taking anything away from the idea of making an extra $100k in one week to go along with your $3+ mil annual salary, but I think my odds are better where I'm at than saying "I think I'll become a P5 head coach and win the ACC tomorrow."

He's also guaranteed at least another $50K, as even if we lose the ACCCG, I don't think the selection rules allow for us to fall below a Tier II bowl. It's bumped to $75K if we make a Tier I bowl, which I think we probably will.
Also, does anyone know if the $50K for winning the ACCCG is in addition to or instead of the $25K for getting to the game?

A lot of his coaching staff is working on a 1 year contract if I recall right, anyone think they all get multiple year contracts or how does that work? I can't see him getting rid of anyone even though there have been some struggles it is the first year with this system and all of them working together as a coaching staff on both sides of the ball at VT. I hope this staff can stay largely intact, they all seem really tight.

Hopefully there isn't any turnover. I would see no reason to replace anyone, and everyone but Mitchell is either a carry over, or came with Fuente.
Wouldn't be shocked if some of the position coaches leave for coordinator position and/or bigger programs
I'd gladly donate to Hokienation if Fuente wins the ACCC game and a fill out that empty national trophy case.
