I have no clue - agree, so antiquated. Hell, even FACEBOOK videos can embed.

I love the disrespect in the screenshot of that video. The ACC Atlantic Champion, top 25 teams FSU and UL, and unranked Coastal runner-up UNC!
This has probably been discussed ad nauseum elsewhere, but is there a consensus on why the fall from grace happens so quickly and the climb back to the top takes forever? Just the nature of the media taking the hot ticket and then not wanting to be wrong about what's coming next?
We used to be well received by ESPN and the like, but now even with a great first season with a new coach everyone is hating on us. I personally enjoy the disrespect and the proving them wrong that follows. But it makes you wonder. I guess the spiral is a steep one...quick on the way down but a slow difficult climb back up.
My thought is, despite our 10+ win seasons and ACC titles under Beamer, our complete and utter embarrassments on the national stage really hurt our credibility. We became known as that team that couldn't win the big one, and we won a lot of games in a completely ugly and unsexy fashion as uptempo spread became all the rage. Then the wheels completely fell off.
I think we've turned a lot of heads this year with Fuente and his new system. VT is a program to be reckoned with now with an offense to match its defense, but it will take time to change the media narrative. Clemson, oddly enough, is what we used to be and aspire to be now all in one - consistent winner, solid program, but with an awesome offensive system. UL has a generational talent in Jackson, and FSU has always been FSU.
I don't get the love affair with UNC, however. But as I have said before, ACC = All Carolina Conference. The Heels think they are big boys at the football table now, and I hope we continue to change that perception quickly.

Nothing against English lit majors or secretaries, or even Rolling Stone. But not exactly the pedigree you'd expect from the president of the Worldwide Leader of Sports.
