A possible list of every team and fanbase in contention rooting for the Hokies this week.
2. Ohio State- They pretty much have an automatic lock but I'm guessing they would rather play Washington or Penn State than Clemson]
4. Washington- They don't want to play Alabama
5. Michigan- They are on the outside looking in and could get in ahead of Washington for a Hate Rematch with OSU
6. Wisconsin- If they win the B10, they want to get in with a Clemson and Washington loss
7. Penn State- Even though Michigan might get in ahead of them, (though they shouldn't) it increases the odds with a B10 championship
8. Colorado- Anything to help the Buffs into the Playoff, although they practically have no chance
9. Oklahoma- Same situation as Penn State and Wisconsin, although the chances are pretty slim for a Big 12 champ in the playoff
10. Oklahoma State- Same as Oklahoma

Well, I'll take the downvotes, too. I also like the Cowboys. Nothing recent, old time moderate fan, but I don't like the Redskins, so I get a lot of grief around where I live and in the family.
We're not the media's team, but we should be the neutral fan's team.
Why would Pitt root for us? If we beat Clemson they don't make the playoff. They'd rather see the team they beat in the playoff than the team they lost to make their biggest win look worse.

I wore my Tyrod jersey to school here in State College yesterday and I can't count the number of people that came up to me to give me a high five or whatever. Penn State really needs us to win.
