S&P+ Projections For All Bowl Games

Stats don't mean much when the game begins, but some of these are pretty interesting.

For those wondering, VT is projected to win by 7.1 points with a 66% win probability, which I think is fair. I'm looking forward to seeing what Joel dishes out for us later on.

Some other numbers that stick out to me, Miami favored by 11 over WVU, Stanford/UNC is only a .2 point game, and Michigan favored by 11.2 over FSU.

Good stuff. I was surprised by a few:

WKU 8.7 over Memphis. That will be a very interesting game.
Idaho made a bowl game? WTF.
La Tech 5.2 over Navy? Give me Navy all day long.
UMD and BC...only a 0.1 spread. Get your appetizers ready, that will be Must See TV.
Miami 11 over WVU? Wow, that's high. I guess Miami really turned it on late in the year.
TCU 7.7 over UGA is surprising, both are pretty disappointing teams but I would have taken UGA straight up.
Stanford only 0.2 on UNC? That's a bad matchup for UNC.
Same for Louisville, they will have big problems with LSU's front line...only 0.2 for LSU?
OU only getting 0.3 on Auburn? I can't see Auburn scoring enough to keep up.

Auburn has a defense and Oklahoma does not. That's why it is close.

Unfortunately, Navy quarterback Will Worth is probably done for the year. Big impact to Navy.

Oh yeah, that sucks.

You'll need a strong pot of coffee to get through that game.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

I would put the O/U on that game at 0.1, not the spread.

I'm not sure which one will be worse, that or Iowa/Florida. God I hope one of them ends 0-0 so we're not the most recent 0-0 game.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Ties are like pants, only for special occasions.

And I think we can all agree that this particular Outback Bowl is not going to be a special occasion.

As a fan of punting, I'm thrilled for it.

Auburn is slated to have their top RB and QB back for the game. Oklahoma hopefully gets Dede Westbrook back for the game as well.

QB Sean White was hurt in the Ole Miss game, and only played 1/2 against Vandy, played badly injured against UGA, and didn't see the field vs Bama.

Pettway came up lame on what should have been the game-sealing 80-yd TD run that ended up being only 60 bc of the injury. He didn't play vs UGA, and was like 60% vs Bama.

If Auburn is healthy, they can put up points with anyone. If White isn't healthy, Oklahoma should be favored by a TD or more. Auburn will also be the best defense they face this year, but OU will still score points.

I hate to say it but my money is on wvu

Even when you get skunked; fishing never lets you down. 🎣

They play this in the stadium on third downs to get the crowd into it. The more you know...

RESTART THE 10-WIN SEASON STREAK

Miami-WVU is an interesting game from a Hokie's perspective. Do we prefer to have WVU highly ranked when we play them or have an ACC team finish the year strong? We despise and consider both programs rivalries with WVU probably being the more hated of the two. Personally I prefer a higher ranked WVU in *stadium whose name shall not be mentioned* to start next season and let da u take care of their own business. Go Hokies!

I hope they both get the clap and have to explain to their grandmothers how it happened.
