Lol, at one point they linked this in response to someone saying "I'm sure we're not on the longest bowl drought among major conferences" or something... but it's 2 years old, and the only teams "ahead" of them that haven't made a bowl in the last 2 years are New Mexico State, UMass, Kansas, and FAU. And the only team still tied with them is FIU. Meaning they now have the 5th longest active bowl drought in FBS, and the only Power-5 team with a longer drought is Kansas. Not exactly a good list of teams to be a part of.
And 5-7 will get a bowl game in most years. oops, not for LOLUVA. Their graduation rate isn't high enough.
By my calculation they would need to graduated 2541% of their players with a 9.7 GPA.

I know this is a joke, but good god have you seen their 2017 recruiting class? Currently their highest rated OL recruit is 6-6 254. That's barely a tight end.

They are losing some of their only legitimate ACC talent and they are replacing them with a recruiting class that is primarily consisted of 2* players without the 4* guys to cover it up. If their coaching gave any semblance of game day competence maybe they have a path... But things right now in Hooville are terribly grim for football. They are going to be an absolutely awful team at least until the 2020s.
They are what Duke was prior to Cutcliffe, without the basketball success to distract. Oh sure they are good and all, but they had their chance last year and choked that away as well.
I think that Bennett is going to have long term success. Not to the level of Coach K competing for national titles, but solid enough.
But then there is the matter of Buzz Williams joining the ACC and getting a few recruiting classes under his belt.
UVA better start talking about their baseball team now.

UVA's basketball program is bordering on elite status right now. The only thing holding them back has been success in the NCAAT. They've earned either a 1 or 2 seed in each of the last 3 tournaments, and are on track to earn another this year (currently #6 in both Sagarin and KenPom as well as the 6th highest expected RPI).
If they manage to make the Final Four this year, we may be witnessing the start of a Duke-style dynasty in Hooville. God forbid they manage to win the title, it's bad enough that they've been winning ACC championships.
