Sad new for sure. It was really sounding like she was going to pull through with it too.

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

RIP, she was great in interviews.

She is one with the Force.

RIP Carrie.

"Exit light..."

I got nothing to say. How is it that George Lucas outlasted her?? I got nothing. Just, fuck it. Far superior actress to Nat Portman IMOP.

Jesus 2016

She is a childhood hero of mine. I was upset when I heard about the heart attack, but I too had heard it was hopeful that she'd make it. The world lost a very special lady today. The force will be with you always Carrie.

Episode 8 better end the intro crawl with "In memory of Carrie Fisher"

I think they should look to how Star Trek Beyond handled Leonard Nimoy's passing. Build it into the script with a tribute to her included with the storyline, and then end the movie with a tribute as well

Not gonna be much building into the script for Episode VIII. They're done filming. But agree. Beyond was fantastic.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

The more I think about it, I almost think they have to go back and change things up to tie her death into Episode VIII. Assuming Leia wasn't already going to be killed off, they have to have her die now. You can't put Leia in Episode XI, as even a CGI Carrie Fisher wouldn't be appropriate for her. The good thing is, release isn't for another year, so they have time to get this right. In fact, with her passing away now, they could come up with an incredibly moving scene based on the pain everyone associated with the franchise has to be feeling now.

Princess Leia was, and always will be, a bad ass.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me.

Agreed. She's right up there with Ellen Ripley in showing that women can kick butt too.

RIP Carrie, you will always be a princess in my heart.

She may be a general, but to me she's royalty

RIP Carrie Fisher and may the force be with you.

Her mother, Debbie Reynolds, has passed away from a suspected stroke.

just saw that. fucking crazy

Todd Fisher, Carrie's brother, released a statement that his mom "wanted to be with Carrie."

I simply cannot fathom the heartbreak this family is experiencing.

Just unreal how that happens. She decided that she had enough when Carrie passed.

God bless the rest of that family because I can't even imagine the sadness

RIP the only hero besides R2 to ever get hit by a Stormtrooper...

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"
