DE Seth Dooley says he plans to pursue other opportunities and not play football with #Hokies. No plans to transfer. Graduated last spring.— Andy Bitter (@AndyBitterVT) January 12, 2017
Per Andy Bitter, Seth Dooley is done with football. Already has his degree, but, according to tweet and source, he will not return to the football field to finish remaining eligibility.

January 2017 Recruiting Thread Part 2
Sorry, couldn't sleep. Drinking....In the a.m.
Feel free to delete.
All good just want to minimize the number of threads!
Went to the January recruiting thread after posting...Hard to find the actual information there. It is a fully-dipped TKP thread.
I agree. Those threads are so difficult to navigate and see new info. I appreciate the separate threads for different players.
This thread is fine. At the end of the day, the goal is to avoid duplicate threads. If there's a topic that justifies its own thread (which this does), but is already already a comment, feel free create a new thread (while following the community guidelines best practices) because it's easier to find information via the tracker.
I didn't see it anywhere else. I had to shut that recruiting thread down.
I don't read the mega threads, and appreciate a thread for specific players that join and leave the team. Just my two cents.
To be fair, if commitments get their own thread, shouldn't confirmed exits also be worthy?
This team is gonna be really different next year

Have some #sauces that his family was never big on him playing ball, and it took some pressuring to get him to play at all in high school.
Glad he was able to turn his athletic talent into a degree regardless. Good for him.
Good family- very well rounded kids. He'll do well in life.
This begs the question: does he still...you know?
Do the birds and bees still...you know?
I mean, not with each other, but...
Do monkeys and deer still... you know?
Thanks Seth for all of the time, effort, and dedication.
