Today we've got Seattle at Atlanta, and then Houston at New England.

Tomorrow is Green Bay at Dallas, then Pittsburgh at Kansas City.

it is known.

So say we all.

It’s later than you think.

While it was fun seeing Giants get throttled last week, i kind of wish the Giants would've won... i feel like Dallas ' odds were better against the Giants despite the fact that they beat us twice already.

Atlanta, New England, Pittsburgh, TITLETOWN.

Those are my predictions.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

I told him I’d crawl on my hands and knees to be the DL coach at Virginia Tech. Now, all of a sudden, I’m sitting in this chair and I told him I’d still crawl on my hands and knees to work here. I just want to be here.

Oh, that I were a betting man...

Atlanta looking far better than I thought they would...so yeah, Atl.

New England, and as the Barstool guys have said, the opening line of ~-16.5 was a slap in the face of NE and the easiest money you can make.

If Jordy can play I take the Packers...but Zeke is sooo good...idkkkk...............I'll take the Cowboys but I don't feel good about it. At all.

I think KC is the most underrated team in the league this season and I don't have shit to back it up...but I'm still taking Big Ben and the Steelers.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

Jordy has been ruled out. :(

Not the bagman VT deserves, but the bagman VT needs right now.

If the Vikings aren't in the playoffs, my primary rooting interest becomes rooting against the Packers. My secondary interest becomes Tom Brady getting so many rings that he can't even raise his hands.

New England is getting all they can handle right now. But I think they pull it out.

Pitt wins on the road and I think Green Bay pulls the upset. Aaron Rodgers is going apeshit on good defenses.

Houston should be all over Tyrod this offseason. They are a competent QB and a healthy Watt away from being scary.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

Houston cant afford to go after Tyrod this offseason without tying up almost $55 mil in QBs. They still owe Osweiler $25 mil in guarantees, the cap hit though drops to "only" $19 mil if he is cut post June 1. The following year they would likely be able to go out and get someone which might work for Tyrod if someone signs him to one of those one year prove it deals.

Wow, they really did screw themselves with that Osweiler deal. Hopefully for their own sake he has a rebound year next year but I doubt it.

This is going about how I thought it would. feels bad man

Anyone else (besides myself) not particularly happy about the teams in the playoffs? Atlanta because fuck Matty, NE because fuck them all, GB because I'm still pissed about the Insight bowl, KC because fuck Alex Smith, Dallas because fuck Dallas and to top it all off...the shortage of Hokies. End rant.

Wait, why do you hate Alex Smith?

In Sam Rogers we trust.

It's really weird. I resent that (from a certain perspective) has had more success in the pros than Vick. Like Vick, he was a #1 overall pick from Utah (a school I feel is on the level of Tech and strongly feel that Tech should be superior to in terms of football). I wish Vick had more success in the pros than Smith.

Chiefs can get a Hokie a ring.

That kind of dulls it for me, knowing he won't have an active part in that. Plus, the whole Alex Smith thing.

Tyrod got one as the back up when he was with Ravens. It still counts dude lol

Yeah, but he was ready to fucking go at a moment's notice, so not even the same thing. Plus, Alex Smith thing.

Yes. I keep hoping all four teams left can find a way to simultaneously lose

21st century QBs Undefeated vs UVA:
MV7, MV5, LT3, Grant Wells, Braxton Burmeister, Ryan Willis, Josh Jackson, Jerod Evans, Michael Brewer, Tyrod Taylor, Sean Glennon, and Grant Noel. That's right, UVA. You couldn't beat Grant Noel.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

I'm probably going to die before i see any of my teams win it all

Wow.

There's always a lighthouse. There's always a man. There's always a city.

Let the meltdown in Dallas commence. I detest Aaron Rogers, but always happy for Dallas to lose. Just imagine the derp yells.

Dac and Zeke now have a complete Dallas resume. Welcome!

Damn, Bell is effin legit.

I'm late on this but GO PACK GO.

Fuck Matt Ryan week begins now

Fuck Matt Ryan week NEVER ended, even when we curbstomped his ass in the ACCCG in '07.

I've come to terms that Matt Ryan is the qb of my NFL team a long time ago. Plus the Falcons get one last game in the Ga dome before its torn down.

Yes, but may the last game in the Georgia Dome be an epic stomping of the Falcons by the Green Bay Packers. I think a similar score to last Miami's last game in the Orange Bowl would be appropriate. 48-0.

I'd be OK with Atlanta leading the game 10-0 until the last two minutes, then Aaron Rodgers leads an epic comeback to win the game 14-10.

At the postgame press conference, Rodgers answers every question with a hearty "Fuck Matt Ryan."

Leonard. Duh.

I could also see him answering with "You think he is a better MVP candidate than me?"

The Cowboy hate is strong this morning. I've been a Cowboy fan forever, but was not at all surprised they lost yesterday.

"Take care of the little things and the big things will come."

My favorite teams include Packers (#1 with a bullet), Patriots, Steelers, and Cowboys. So this playoff season has been great.

me either, i even tried not to get my hopes up man. couldn't help it when they tied things up.

hurts man, sometimes i hate being a big fan of sports teams.

Blame the media. I'm a Skins fan so the hate comes natural but there is no reason for say a Jaguars fan to hate Dallas. But I bet that some Jaguars fan in Florida was rejoicing when that FG went through. The problem is yall got the same media coverage this year as yall got last year. One team went 13-3 and the other went 4-12........it's just sickening to every other fan base (edit: except for New England)............

Which has the better conference championship match-up? Pittsburgh-NE or Green Bay-Atlanta?

I personally (being a Steelers fan) think that Pitt/NE is the more intriguing match-up, with Big Ben and Brady squaring up. BUT, the other match-up is interesting as well because we all know it's gonna be a shootout between two great offenses. Thoughts?

"GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM LITTLE BROTHER, THE CUP IS COMIN’ ON HOME!”

I think they're both going to be super entertaining, and as a Packers fan, I obviously will be more interested in the GB/ATL game. Rodgers and Ryan (probably 1 and 2 in MVP voting) in a dome against two awful defenses? Sign me up.

Check these stats from a Ringer article about the Falcons' and Packers' respective defenses:

The Falcons may have gotten past Wilson and the Seahawks this weekend, but they finished the year 25th in yards (5,939) surrendered and 27th in points surrendered (25.4 per game). The team that's about to try to defend God-Mode Rodgers in the passing game gave up 4,267 pass yards (28th in the league), surrendered 31 touchdowns (28th), picked off just 12 passes (tied for 18th), and allowed a 92.5 passer rating to opposing quarterbacks (22nd) during the regular season.

Likewise for Green Bay, the defense that's tasked with stopping one of the best offenses in league history gave up 32 passing touchdowns (tied for 29th) in 2016 and surrendered 7.1 yards per pass attempt. They're down to third- and fourth-string cornerbacks who will be tasked with somehow stopping Julio Jones.

Great article, thanks for sharing! The GB/ATL game is definitely setting up to be a rocket shooting, guns blazing, Hatfield/McCoy duel that could be one for the ages. It's crazy that both the Packers and Falcons have gotten this far with defenses ranked that low.

"GO BACK TO YOUR ROOM LITTLE BROTHER, THE CUP IS COMIN’ ON HOME!”

As much as I hate to admit it, Matt Ryan has been really good this year, but Rodgers is an alien. Then I'm a little nervous because the Pack got pretty dinged up yesterday

And no problem. I'm a big fan of Bill Simmons, and The Ringer is basically Grantland2.0. They have some really entertaining articles covering sports, tv, movies, music etc. Probably describes my general hatred of ESPN these days too

The conference championship games are always exciting. From a purely game watching perspective I enjoy them as much as the superbowl.

How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Jet Sweep

With a few exceptions, the CCG are usually much more entertaining than the Super Bowl

Both are solid match ups but I think GB-Atl will be the better game to watch. NE has had Pit's number the last few years and Big Ben is a shell of himself, on the same level as Drew Brees, on the road compared to home. Even worst for them is NE having a bad game against Hou. I foresee them bouncing back big.

Also might be a little biased since I'm a Bal fan.

I like our chances against the Pats. They're not as good this year as the public seems to think, beating the likes of Brock Osweiler and Joe Flacco does not show me you have a good defense. And the Texans shut down the Patriots offense last week (their offense only scored 20 points, and I'm sure the Houston defense getting only 3 plays off at a time helped that). We don't have a secondary that is nearly as good as Houston, but our front 7 with Dupree back and Harrison turning back the clock is as good as any in the league. The Texans took away the flats and dared the Patriots to throw deep, and without Gronk they have no real deep threat. Sure, Edelman came down with a couple, but those were horrible throws that took some serious luck to complete. That 5.5 point spread seems awfully high to me.

Rip his freaking head off!

I heard that Harrison has a triceps injury so he might be questionable for the game against NE.

That said NE is beatable. For Pitt to win, Big Ben has to be on fire and the line needs to motor grade for Bell.

I haven't heard that about Harrison, he was posting Instagram videos on Monday morning showing him working out after they got in at 4am.

Rip his freaking head off!

CBS Sports Radio for the good or bad. Then again it was Tiki Barber speaking, so we know how little he knows about football. After all he went to LOLUVA.
