Fun Fact: Prior to 15 minutes ago Fisher was our 8th best recruit (according to 247) since 2000. He is replaced by another Safety.
I hope what happened to Holland doesn't happen to Denmark.

Richmond city proper had 61 homicides last year. Almost all were concentrated in the East End Laburnum corridor, Gilpin Ct, and the South side Hull St corridor. Its a shame, since there are some very nice neighborhoods along Hull St.

I saw an article about that a few months ago and saw the picture and was like what the hell, that looks like Holland Fisher. Sure enough, they named him in the article. But probably a good thing they didnt mention his football career or VT. This was on WRIC I believe.
to me this exemplifies the importance of amateur athletics. An opportunity to get a degree for free can be a powerful, life changing event. Feel bad for him both in that it didn't work out on the field and that he fell into trouble off of it.
I actually have been looking at a lot of our recent recruiting history and found this last week. I was very sad to see it, and hope he can turn it around.
