Pretty cool for Sam to be honored in this way and obviously well deserved. Congratulations to him and his family.

FAM!
That's great. Well deserved.
Sam Rogers perfectly embodies what it means to be a Hokie. He's gonna be successful in life regardless what he chooses to do, but I hope he has a great pro football career.
And a VIRGINIAN!
#sauces say he wants to be a preacher
Wait, is that true or some joke that went completely over my head?
If this is true, Satan is completely fucked.
Thank you. I haven't laughed that hard in a month.
I actually laughed out loud...well done
I misread this as Saban at first, and it still made sense.
Nope, its the truth. No jokes here......this time
I heard they also voted to remove Thomas Jefferson's bust and replace it with a picture of Sam running over a UVa LB
It narrowly beat out the photo of Cavman falling off his horse.
Hey, at least they're doing something useful in Richmond this year.
Careful.....
I'm disparaging the entire state legislature regardless of party affiliation.
I'd imagine any comments regarding governance would be considered political comments, even if you don't mention political parties.
I'll concede that. I guess I thought it would be received the same way that saying "the DMV sucks" would have been.
Need to get better at putting the "/s" instead of implying it.
lol, politics like voldemort
he must not be named
Let me help you. It's much more fun to mock UVA than anything else, and we can still tie it to Richmond:
With Sam Rogers' honor, Virginia Tech recorded a win in Richmond today, which is more than we can say for UVA.
Is this a common occurrence for college football players or is Sam just all kinds of special?
#sauces has it that the General Assembly wanted to pass a bill to decree a "Sam Rogers Day", but since all the other days would be too terrified to show up thus creating a hole in the time/space continuum, they decided against it.
So this means that in the official records of the Virginia House of delegates, our six touchdown Beatdown of Virginia is recorded for all eternity.
The last time you'll ever read that UVA played in a "championship".
Awesome but also an example of why our country is failing. Was this really the most important thing for them to be focusing on? I mean someone took the time to draft this then vote on it then...Er I mean yay
Awesome but also an example of why TKP is failing. Was this really the most important thing for you to be focusing on? I mean you took the time to draft this then post it then...Er I mean yay
Delegates ask staffers to draft stuff like this all the time. It's introduced to the floor, read, and passed in a couple of minutes.
If this bugs you then you really shouldn't go and see a session in person.
