The VT SGA is celebrating their 50th Anniversary and Hokie Effect is celebrating their 15th Anniversary in 2017. The Hokie Effect designs and slogans are student-originated concepts that are adapted for the shirts each year. Shirt proceeds go toward the funding of SGA initiatives for the continued improvement of resources for the student body.

I've always liked the effect shirts for basketball more than football. This round of shirts is no different.
Also: is there a white out effect? On my ticket for the Miami game it clearly says White Out, but I dont see any shirts for sale. Are we all just wearing Hanes White Ts to Cassell?
Or they are provided maybe.
White Out was a last minute request from the team this season. Like the football White Effect, this White Out is not part of our SGA Hokie Effect program, although we did help select the game for it. There will be a white pom pom giveaway for the game this year and fans will be encouraged to wear white.
If it seems to be popular with the fans, I'd expect to see White Out shirts in the coming seasons!

Any way to still get the blackout shirt? I ordered both, but the package only had the maroon one. Wasn't sure if they took it off the order since it was going to be delivered after the black out game. A little disappointed because I really need more black shirts and I liked the design on that one.
The maroon effect looks great today on tv! Well done. The drive for 25 logo is crisp too.
