It doesn't mention this in that article but did you know he used to be a police officer?

uva sucks

He was a time cop who never mastered the timeout.

Known for being able to occasionally lure decent recruits into the twilight zone.

Poor guy. Gets hired for Parking Enforcement Officer, and he thinks he's gonna be Head Ball Cop.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I was going to call a timeout on this thread but then figured better save them to ice the poster

Their stadium was built in 1926. Could have fun with that!

Even when you get skunked; fishing never lets you down. 🎣

Good for them-he had good results at that level. This is a natural fit.

The only reason he was good at that level (which he was only at that level for 2 years as a HC) was because he inherited a championship caliber Richmond team that Dave Clawson built, who had just left to become the OC for Tennessee.

A good friend of mine was a playing OL at UoR during that time (recruited by Clawson) and said that compared to Clawson, London was a horrible head coach. I think the career at UVA proves he was right.

I believe London is a good assistant, but he is not good enough to be in charge of an entire football program at the college level. Obviously, I'm not the AD at Howard University.

He just wanted to coach Tyrod. He's going to be disappointed when he finally gets there.

Howard's logo:

"Hokie religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid." Han Solo

Good for him. He might have been a bad coach at UVA but he supposedly he was trying to mold them. (Into what we will never know)

Accomplished more of a mildew effect, though, didn't he?

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

I heard he was at least a fungi.

"Exit light..."

His QB is gonna Cam Newton's little brother. Coach Dream already bringing in star power for #thecomeup.

In Sam Rogers we trust.

TIMEOUT!

I can imagine no more rewarding a career. And any man who may be asked in this century what he did to make his life worthwhile, I think can respond with a good deal of pride and satisfaction:
“I served in the United States Navy"

Any relation to George?

GD autocorrect.

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

Haha thanks for sharing though. Good for him!

Awesome, hopefully he can make his way up to P5 coaching.

I hear UVA may be looking for a head coach in 2-4 years.

That'd be a love hate thing as Clowney is one of my favorite hokie receivers. I could never be upset about a hokie making millions of dollars a year though for his and his family's sake.

It's about time!
