you had me at steak...and lost me at fungus.
I used to hate mushrooms too, but now I couldn't imagine eating steak without them.
Why? I've never understood people who add toppings to steak? I'm honestly asking, do you like even the best steaks with toppings or just subpar ones?
they just go so well together, in my opinion. especially when done right. I prefer to cook my own
I'm very much a purest, steak stands alone. No mushrooms, no onions, no big clobs of butter, no gravy, no bacon wrap.
I'd like to hear French's take on this one. It's pie...but it's also cheese.
I'm thinking French would say that it has good balance between attacking the A gap but has enough legs to get off defenders and make a nice play down field.
I'm not really sure how that ties into the food, but it's what first came to mind....

Alas, no sisters and no cousins within a few thousand miles. Which wouldn't matter, since none of them can cook like my wife. She learned the world's best pie crust and gets all of her cooking talent from her late mother. Your best hope is to wait on daughters of my sons, and hope that my wife is around to teach them how to cook. You might have a long wait, as neither are married, one has a girlfriend, the other does not. And I've told them both I don't want any grandkids until they're at least 27. So you better have a long horizon.

Last year I wated to try making a pie crust blank so I made a coconut cream pie from scratch, and the results looked and tasted good. This year I wanted to try making a graham cracker crust. The results this time around definitely taste good.
I went for a chocolate pudding pie this year. However, when I went to buy graham crackers I saw vanilla wafers on the self and went for those instead. So it's a vanilla wafer crust (would be good for banana pudding pie too), homemade chocolate pudding (not from a box), and hand made whipped cream (winky face).
And now for the beautiful cross section...
Well shit, it definitely tastes really good, and with a proper pie cutter I think I could have successful cut out a good looking piece. Also note that there is a fair amount of chocolate pudding covered by the whipped cream. The picture doesn't show the ratio of chocolate pudding to whipped cream.
PS, I really need a girlfriend, I definitely do not need to eat a whole pie by myself.
