Lady Hokies won 64-55 over the Nittany Lions today. Five Hokies in double figures with Chanette Hicks leading the way with 13. The ladies next game will be 2pm on Saturday at Michigan. Win their and they will have reached the semifinals. Michigan is 25-9, 17-1 at home.

Looks like a tough game ahead. The extra games and practices so far have got to be great for a new coach though.
If you would have told me at the end of OOC play that the lady hokies would be playing longer than the men...well I would have totally believed it because they were undefeated at the time. BUT if you had told me that at the end of conference play, I wouldn't have believed you since they were on a gawdawful skid throughout all of ACC play.
Glad to see they're still kicking and hope they win a pennant we can hang in Cassell!
Even better UVA women lost to JMU in the second round. Unfortunately, JMU lost in a close one last night to Nova. JMU and the Lady Hokies had the possibility of meeting in the final four which could have been interesting for Coach Brooks.
Just shows that Whit hit another home run with Brooks.
Oof. Down 9 at the half after putting up only single digits in the 2nd quarter.
Down 21 with 6:10 left in the 4th.
It was a great run for Coach Brooks and the Lady Hokies.
Good things to come. Strange bifurcation in the season, but still, they should be proud.
