Both looked pretty solid. They both primarily went against the 1st team D the entire game. Jackson had probably the best throw of the game on a deep pass to Farley for a huge gain. Bush also played well and didn't really put the ball in any bad spots that I saw. Also flashed his mobility several times. He had a nice pass to Patterson on the final drive for a huge run after the catch, then a long run as the clock expired. Have to feel good about what you saw from the entire group yesterday.

Bush, against the first team corners, really did not challenge them on the outside. Play calling was very different in the passing game for both.
To me, I'd rank execution in the passing game as
Hooker (until the INT- more on that in my review)
Jackson
Bush
Running game, I thought Bush had the best run game mechanics (mesh points and footwork) with Bush a very close second. But the QBs were clearly not executing true read options so we only got a glimpse there.
It was interesting that Hooker sat down after his series with the ones while Jackson and Bush kept getting repetitions.

Statistically the two performed very similarly.

Jackson went 4-8, 67 yards

Bush starts goes to the NFL but Jackson plays to gain real time experience. Then Jackson plays two years and goes NFL bound, we get hooker for two years. All take us to acc championship game and bcs Bowl, Jackson gets us to title game, hooker wins it for us

I missed the game so I didn't get to see how they performed and everyone talks about Hooker going with the 2's but that means his supporting cast is also 2's. What percentage would you put on each QB to be the starter. I'd say:
40% Jackson
35% Hooker
25% Bush

Based on what limited information we have so far, I think all 3 would be capable through the air, so whomever provides the offense with the best fit in the running game would get the nod. Right now both Bush and Jackson appear to have an edge just based on physique (i.e. ability to take the necessary licks our QB is going to get when running)...from the eyeball test, Hooker just needs to put on some weight.

Yeah I don't think there's really a bad option between those 3. I still think Jackson gets the start, but Hooker really shocked everyone I think. It's just hard to imagine Hooker playing game 1 against WVU as a true freshman, but stranger things have happened I guess. He still needs to put on a lot of muscle but that's pretty understandable for a guy who shouldn't even really be graduating high school for another month and a half.

I love all three of them and I believe we are blessed that after the shock of Jerod leaving, we'll end up with three options that all look pretty good at this point. It's just that when I remember the big load Jerod had on his shoulders in the run game, I can't imagine Hooker making it through all of that in one piece without a year of S&C first.

I would put Bush's chances a little higher. I think all three could ultimately start and lead the offense. Some may be more comfortable with certain plays over others, but I think each could still be a capable QB for us.
Jackson probably knows the playbook the best, but Bush is bigger than Jackson and provides a better running dimension. He is also older and is more physically ready to take the hits and shoulder the running load than Hooker as of now. Hooker is a great athlete but he needs to add some muscle and spend more time in the strength program before I think he'll be ready to endure an entire season. The physical aspect definitely favors Bush right now.
I think you could make a very good argument for any of them to start right now. I believe we are going to see a true competition for the job go all the way into late August. Everyone brings something different to the table, and I think everyone could be effective if called upon to play.
