Robert Zemeckis is in talks to direct and possibly write DCCU Universe Movie, The Flash. ScreenJunkiesNews broke the story.
The original script was supposed to be a gritty Flash Rogues movie. I think Zemeckis could really make the Flash (especially played by Ezra Miller) seem really fun, kind of like a DC Ant-Man. This would be a great marraige, especially with a die-hard Flash fan like Zemeckis

The DCEU is in dire need of a more lighthearted approach that isn't cringeworthy like Suicide Squad was. I say give it a shot.
