Being a local, I'll take a noon game over a late afternoon day any day. Gives me the rest of the day to actually do other things once the game is over.

As a fellow local, I never have the energy to do much of anything after a morning of tailgating and a football game. I'm gonna waste the rest of the day after the game ends, so might as well make kickoff as late as possible.

Hooray! 3:30's are the best. Enough time to get lubed up for the game, not enough time to drown yourself. That being said, reallyyy hoping for a nooner for the ODU game.

I understand the anger, but you need to remember that starting this year ESPN is rebranding their ACC content that is exclusively shown on WatchESPN as being "ACC Network" content. This is not the Raycom channel with its terrible production values.

But pretty much anything that says ACC Network that isn't a 12:30 kickoff is really just ESPN3/WatchESPN. The key is seeing "ACC Network Extra".
Although that article has already seen several updates. Originally, it listed both games as being on ACC Network (which the ECU game couldn't be on, since it's on the American TV contract), and also had a paragraph about Delaware being the White Out game (which is actually the ODU game).

As someone who has to drive over 6 hours to get to a game noon games are the worst.

As a local, I was raised to get my chores done before play time. So my tailgating time normally get cut short for some games.
ACC Network in this case refers to the glorified ESPN3 broadcasts online, and not Raycom.
Although the Hokiesports schedule says the ECU game is on CBS Sports Network.
Hell yeah! That's more time for tailgating.
