This post made me check out le sabre for some laughs. They are literally saying they need a Polynesian assistant coach to recruit the West Coast, debating whether Mike London was better than Bronco, and asking if anyone sees an upward trajectory.
It is the saddest thing I've seen in a long time.

to be fair, they share a user registry with TSL and all the other sportswar sites. In other words, every TSL user can post to LeSabre and vice versa. So it is very possible many of those posts are, shall we say, less than genuine.

The nice part about it is that actual posters of The Sabre take every opportunity possible to remind you of that. Pretty much any post that comes off as not strokin the party line is from a Hokie

I'd like to think that the site is frequented by recruits and the arrogance coupled with hopeless negativity would be a detriment, but if I'm honest, I don't think a 17 year old could make it 3 minutes with that awful format.

That is a difficult one.
In his first two years, Timecop got blown out by us. (You know, using other people's players, which is what he excelled at.) But then by years 3-6, when the teams were largely recruited by him, he kept the games within a score (except for the 16-6 matchup).
I was sad to see him leave, because I thought he was so perfect for us.
Bronco, using Timecop's players, was on the receiving end of the largest Hokie beatdown of Hoos since 1983.
I'll need to see more.
