This kid is the real deal, hopefully he realizes at the Opening Finals that catching perfectly thrown balls from either QP2 or Hendon is the best option for his football life.
All CBs are flipping to Florida, including Watkins...FWIW

We need Simmons, Peoples, and Patterson to be in his ear and get him to the good guys. Seems like he is high on the Gators after his visit. Hopefully him taking time to think about it will give us a chance to get back in front, he would be a great addition!

I'll preface this by saying: Want him. Would love to have him. Everything I've seen says he would be a great fit, and his being E11 'mates with QPII will only help our chances. But:
Is this going to come down to need/available snaps? We have Cunningham, Keene and DeIuliis (incoming) - not to mention Pettit when we go true tights - does he see a clearer path to the field as a Gator? I've glossed over their roster and they have about half a dozen guys listed at TE. No idea who plays, who's a walk-on, etc. Anyone got any color?
Kemore Gamble is a 4 Star TE that enrolled in January for the Gators. Their top two TE's from last year will be a Senior and RS JR this coming season, so Pitts could probably see the field early his Freshman year as he likely would be 3rd in the pecking order. Or he could redshirt and be on the two deep with Gamble the following year.

Welp, that's a total CB shift to UF. I think this ship may have sailed.
VT has too many tight ends already committed and playing. Probably not going to take any this year at all after taking 2 last year plus 2 returning
A 4 star 6'5" Tight End in the elite 11 and ranked the #7 tight end in the country by 247. And out of state........you take him regardless if you have 1 or 25 tight ends on the team.
Ship may have sailed, but there is hope if he creates a repoire with Quincy at the elite 11. Then there is the friendship factor with current commits Simmons and Peoples (don't know how close they are, but have read they are friends).
Well that sucks ! We had all the crystal balls for the longest time . Guess after his last visit with Florida things changed. I don't care how many TE's we have because he brings a different skill set from what we currently have .
With the E11 still to come, I'm not ready to concede anything. Crystal balls have been wrong before. Some notable examples have knocked us for a loop - recently, and in multiple sports. I don't see any reason why we can't be on the good end of one of these scenarios every once in a while.
PS: I kind of can't believe I just wrote that - and absolutely meant it. I'm never this optimistic when it comes to the 'croot game. I'm not saying unequivocally that we get him - but I am saying that I am digging the hell out of the momentum this staff is building.
