Apparently David Long who has been hyped up a good bit thus spring, will be out for the VT game. Que excuses for mountaineer fans if they lose.

I didn't want them to have an excuse
...or a hurricane...
Excuses are for losers. They are going to have plenty even if they have to make them up.
They'll find some reason to whine when we win. I just want the win, don't care how.
The whining will be drowned out by multiple LGH's, punctuated by a rousing rendition of Tech Triumph.
We won't even hear that shit.
Their fans on reddit are disappointed but not necessarily worried. They've still got some talent out there. Still gotta come to play and take care of the football.
PLEASE do the opposite of what we did against UT and hold on to the ball.
Why is there a gif of Amy shumer pooping?
I thought every gif of Amy Shumer was of her poop face
I believe if we do just that we will win convincingly
They have a serious lack of experience at key positions. They return 3 starters on defense, 4 if you count a player coming off of a missed season due to injury. They will have an all new line, they just lost their star linebacker for the beginning of the season, and they only return one DB.
Both of their safeties are on the Bednarik award watch list. Obviously our defense is way better off, but they aren't without talent.
Didn't say they weren't. I just think with the system they run, 3-3-5, experience is even more important that in a traditional 4-3.
This is exactly why I don't get the confidence by the collective sports media and WVU fans. There's a definitely a possibility that our new offense looks like crap out the gate, they (WVU) somehow put it together and manage to win. Call me cocky, a homer, or what have you, but the range possibilities definitely seems slanted towards a close Hokie win with a possibility of a blowout win. I just don't see a scenario where this rag tag group of fresh WVU starters manages to beat us unless we do something to give it to them somehow.

Which happened a year ago at Bristol due to 4 T/Os. We must be as focused as Shayne Graham.
A completely different game against a completely different team. 2016 Tennessee != 2017 WVU.
We were underdogs going in, and most people knew they were the more polished team at that point. While Tennessee didn't meet their expectations for the season, a lot of that had to do with injuries, and they had some legitimate reasons to think it was possibly going to be a special season for them. I don't see any of that in WVU.
Granted, I still recognize the possibility of us fumbling the game away, but that's always a possibility.
Collective sports media has been fairly high on us and expect us to win from what I've seen. We're even favored by vegas and several previews I've read.
The media poll has WVU 6th in the Big 12. Take from that what you will.
Aren't all their returners dbs?
Oh...you meant the other thing...right...
Well...you just hate to see that (but considering who it is...not really)
Nah, you hate to see any kid get injured. Regardless of the team... even the cousin fuckers
They're already creating their list of excuses, this just adds another. Screw it, let's play football!
Their defense is already pretty thin. The players they do return are pretty stout, but they don't return a lot, and this definitely hurts. Trust me, for what we lost on offense, they lost on defense. This game will come down to our defense vs. their offense. Even if Will Grier is as good as the WVU fan base is advertising, they still have an inexperienced offensive line and lost their leading receiver. It's essential Bud takes advantage of this. Keep in mind, Grier is pretty inexperienced as well with only 6 games under his belt.
