Totally worth sharing. Fucking love the man and love that he fucking loves us.

I love a good nap. Sometimes that's all that's getting me out of bed in the morning.

I look forward to watching the episode of him enjoying Claytor Lake with Bud — water sports by day; fireside chats by night.

On my graduation day from Radford it was an absolute downpour and we couldn't hear whoever the hell it was giving the commencement speech. One of my roommates (who graduated the year after me) had a beautiful, sunshiney day and Marty gave the commencement. Said he threw in a couple naughty words as well...I will forever be jealous of that.

Amateur superstar and idiot extraordinaire.

2026 Season Challenge: TBD
Previous Challenges: Star Wars (2019), Marvel (2020), Batman (2021), Wrasslin' (2022)

Met Marty at the race track (when he covered NASCAR) and seen him in Blacksburg a couple times as well. He's such a cool dude. Couldn't have happened to a better guy. All the best to him

I miss his NASCAR coverage. ESPN did a better job than NBC at the very least.

I do miss Marty and Bestwick (also and incredibly nice and cool guy), but I'll take NBC's coverage anyday...just simply because we don't have to fool with the TNT summer races *shudders at thought*

Yeah TNT was god awful. Those few years where the awkward transition from Fox to TNT to NBC were cringe-worthy.

Marty Smith is awesome. I might actually start watching ESPN again.

Thought the first show was great. He comes off as an actual person and not a talking head. Thought Tebow was good as well. Also like the fact he was trying to break the USCW quarterbacks fingers throwing soft toss in case we have to meet up with them.

Hell yeah! Nothing but love for Marty - never met him, but he seems like such a down to earth guy.
