So, this how it ends? Armies of golden, bee-shaped cyborgs roaming the Earth, chop-blocking humans into extinction, all while playing a recording of, "You shall not pass!"
Welp, we had a good run.

The good news is that the people from Facebook said that the AI's would repeat certain words when they wanted more of that thing (so they would just say "the the the the the ball" to get 5 balls). These bee cyborgs will get stuck in an infinite loop of saying "not pass not pass not pass..." So they will actually be pretty easy to defeat!

Not to toss water on your theory, but Dr Batra was a Tech professor for a couple years until he took a new position at GT last summer. He was on my committee until he left for GT.

"What spooked the researchers is that the phrases used by the AI seemed like gibberish and were unintelligible to them, but made perfect sense to AI agents. This allowed the AI agents to communicate with one another without the researchers knowing what information was being shared."

Hopefully they can spell intelligence ;)
I fixed it... I could have sworn I had spell checked it before posting.
Hope I didn't come across as a dick, I just couldn't pass it up.

Doesn't like Cheerios either, I get it.
Nope!
We know how this ends up......

and honestly most of us knew this from the get go thanks to Hollywood. I'll be one to never trust our robot overlords when that day comes.
And the real reason to worry if they didn't shut it down....

There's a Black Mirror episode that's pretty damn close to this
I really wish this was CPJ being escorted to jail to answer for the crimes against knees committed by his players.

Classic Heel Turn. Or, in this case, should it be called a Jacket Turn?
Ladies and gentlemen, the next meme on the internet.
So does that mean all of the users on here that have abandoned the English language could just be AI bots?

In the year 2525...
...if man is still alive...
...if woman can survive...
...we may find...
Have a leg for the 70's rock reference, even if I do hate the song.
RIP Human race, it was a good run
I'm currently working on a software project whose name ends in '-net'. Musk was right Zuckerberg don't know what he's talking about
Elon Musk understands technology. I'm not sure what it is that Zuckerberg understands, other than stealing other people's ideas and marketing them.
There are definitely risks in AI, or any technology that you don't have complete control of.
