Just want to say, I'm in Atlanta this weekend visiting some friends, and I have run into several nice couples who saw my wife's VT shirt and immediately embraced us. Something even as simple as a "Go Hokies" and just saying hello briefly and talking about VT. If any of you are on TKP, thanks for being great Hokies. This is what makes this school so special. Each and every one of us strives to be such a great ambassador for the school and a genuinely great person.
Go Hokies, and as far as Chris Long's cute little twitter comments, you couldn't beat Tech, and Tony Bennett can't either on that bowser's castle floor.

What was Chris saying?
And yes, Hokienation is everywhere
Just tough talk from Chris Long who couldn't beat Tech, and forgets that Phony Bennett is 0-2 there past two years. Plus I love bowsers castle, best level on Mario Kart 64.

Wait a sec. Why can't we bring up football if a football player is brining it up?
Because of course the guy who played football for UVa wouldn't want is to bring up football. I'd be embarrassed, too.
Is he talking about the new seats? Does that mean JPJ looks like a dark blue 83 Grand Marquis mixed with elitist pompousness?
Perhaps Mr. Long should focus on landing on piles so he gets credit for tackles. That guy never lived up to his billing when I was watching.
How about this: you prove to me this fall on the Birds that you're not a bum, and I'm still going to bring up football.
I love how he brought up the super bowl win, as if he wasn't coasting on the coattails of Brady for that one.
I don't like having to root for him, but that's still not as bad as J.J. Redick on the Sixers. Must be the universe's way of getting back at me for how much hate I threw his way while he was at Duke.
Edit: fake news
Ok....those of you that do the tweet twitter thing need to get after Will to make Blacksburg his second home. Will Farrell prowling the sidelines during one of our games would be epic. Maybe we could get him to do the national anthem.....
This is so not true, the same story went around a couple years ago about some other celebrity stopping in Blacksburg and getting taken to Mikes (RIP good friend)
I really hope you just forgot the /s
I can think of several Hokies I know, ind lauding myse
F and likely most of you reading this, that will go out of their way to help a person in need. I can not think of many that would not recognize Will. But I can think of no likely scenario where Will would be driving a rental car by himself through Blacksburg.
Um, that's a fake website.
I hate Chris Long.
ANYBODY READY FOR THE SOLAR ECLIPSE ON THE 21ST?!?
Seriously my kid gets out at 11:30 that day we are driving down to the center of the total eclipse here on the coast and going to watch.
We're driving down to Nebraska to be in the direct path, I cannot wait. Got my solar eclipse shades ready
Its gonna be cloudy.
EDIT: I hope its not cloudy, but every time I try to see some celestial event it always is without fail. If not though, I'll be watching the 90% or whatever we are gonna have here in Richmond, while at work.
I keep thinking this too. I'm trying so hard to be positive
Hell yeah man!
I was driving home from work last Thursday and noticed that the car behind me had a very similar VT license plate (mine is the school seal plate- 07H(Seal)KEE and his was something very similar - can't remember specifically what it was). Anyways, as we're driving on Route 7, he passed me and gave me a thumbs up and a fist pump. My wife went to Penn State for undergrad, and she finds it strange that Hokies will give people thumbs up or randomly say Go Hokies when we walk by each other in xyz place. Bottom line - there is no place like the Hokie Nation, and those outside of it will have trouble understanding the bond that makes us like family.

I find myself seeing Hokie flags and plates down here almost everyday now. But I find sometimes people on vacation are shocked to hear a Go Hokies. I also wish Hokies had good catch phrase like anSOU or Bama that we could yell at each other.
I'm surprised we haven't made more of a thing out of saying "Hokie Hokie Hy" from the Old Hokie Cheer. I've heard a couple people say that before.
We should all yell "Stick it in" at each other.
That wouldn't be weird, right?
I tried to find a Stick it in gif, now I need to go wash my iPad.
