I thought maybe the double piping was too busy, not sure which one looks better.
Another idea: very rough concept of the maroon Hokie Stone design from the basketball court on the shoulders and sleeves of the jersey contained within the white piping.
I like it more without the orange piping.
Personally, I'd like to see a modernized version of the Mike Vick era uniforms. I like the solid jerseys like Alabama, Michigan State, Penn State, etc.

I agree. But I also believe that there is some underlying reason we haven't yet. I don't know what it might be but with how in touch Whit is with fan base I have a hard time believing that removing the shoulder stripes simply hasn't crossed his mind
I think it's because Beamer REALLY loved the stripes. Probably a big reason they stayed around so long. We couldn't just scrap the stripes right as he retires, so I think it was a good move to keep them for a couple years as we transition into the Fuente era. I fully expect revamped uniforms next year.
I know Nike would never betray Oregon like this but man, I want the stripes gone, solid maroon, and Oregon-style wings on the shoulders in orange. I also want the white unis to sport the seriously tight maroon hokie-stone on the shoulders. Really really feel that's the best two uni combination we could get.

I feel we will see that look, most likely this year. If you look across the country uniforms are going to a classic, non striped look.

The helmet we wore for Beamer's last game vs. UVA and the bowl game against Tulsa is my favorite helmet.

Not sure where everybody else stands on this, but I prefer the maroon face masks over the white. Are white face masks going to be standard? Or are we using them at least once this season?
I don't think they'll be the norm, but I do think there will be 1-2 "special" helmets this year. Especially when the tweet said "saving the best for last". You don't say that for maroon, black, or white.

All Maroon is a classic look and there is a reason that we have not seen All Orange. I like orange as an accent color and not the primary.
If we did do orange, I'd rather see it with a maroon helmet and maroon pants. Kind of like the picture of AJ Bush on the home page.
