I don't think it looks bad at Ll, except for the gold fairie spikes. I think they need to just make them brown spikes. The gold spikes puts it way over the top, and takes away from the traditional aspects of this uniform. Hell, why not wear the green leprechaun spikes that Joe Montana made famous instead?
I know these are all about money -- and supposedly recruiting. But the whole alternate uniform thing is so passe by now.

Kevin Plank and Maryland are two great reasons not to buy Under Armour.
I'm not impressed with those uniforms, but they're certainly not the worst clown suits the Maryland players have been forced to wear. They sometimes dress them like Batman villains.

I think you stared at the eclipse for too long.
I love the MD flag, but it is just too plastered everywhere now. And the uni combos they've come up with haven't necessarily been the best use. But, the endzones are absolutely how the UMD endzones should look. Always.
As someone who grew up in MD and cheered for the Terps through my grade school days, and even after later on when they had some respectable teams coached by the likes of Bobby Ross and Lefty Driesell, I think the Terps need to concentrate more on the product they put on the field than figuring out putrid and more putrid uniform combinations. I hate to say it, but it's almost like they lost their mind, first sending their ACC Coach of the Year packing, then deserting their ACC roots for the Big Ten, and finally bringing all this undue attention to themselves wearing the wacked-out, circus uniforms. I think their AD that orchestrated all those brilliant moves was Kevin Anderson, which makes me appreciate even more that we got a guy like Whit steering our ship!
