They quickly deleted the tweet. Probably cleaning it up but it did look like white pants to me as well.
Edit: Looks like new white pants with Hokie Stone striping maybe? What do you all think?
The images all scroll together from left to right on instagram, you can see how they line up together here. The last screen is a digital Hokiestone background which is what you see on the side of the pants picture. I would bet it's the standard white pants.

This Bolt on 247 indicates new pants as well. Though I think it's probably guess work since the VT equipment page hasn't shown the pants. I would say it's still safe to assume just normal whites until shown otherwise.
Don't know how I feel about this combo yet, anxious to see what it looks like on the field. White cleats would be a good touch tho.
I'm REALLY excited about this. With the new font, I think these are going to look clean, crisp, and modern without being too far out.
