Season ticket sales ended once the UD game kicked off. There were still a fair number of ODU tickets left at that point, so we must have had decent single game ticket sales. I think general growing hype around the program, kickoff time allowing people to conceivably make it a day trip, and Saturday's weather forecast helped with game week sales.

This'll be my first game of the year. Anyone who was at the Delaware game - were there any changes in security getting through the gate (as in metal detectors)? Wondering if my flask will be met with any resistance.

I got in with 4 beers in my pockets and I wasn't even trying that hard to conceal them.
I'm impressed with both the balls it takes to attempt it and the execution to pull it off. I've never even attempted to bring in beers when the weather's not cold and I don't have the benefit of layers.
I have been shut down many times and told to dispose of them. Which just leads us to step out of line and see what we can chug before ditching the rest in an attempt not to miss Enter Sandman.
My metal flask made it in
Stadium woods entrance (midway behind east side) was an absolute nightmare to enter through. Took nearly 40 mins to get from the bag check table to the gate, which is approx. 20 ft. and we got there 45 mins before kick. I recommend avoiding this entry at all costs. No metal check and half assed bag check.
I'm glad you posted this because our intention was to attempt this entrance for the next game. The idea sounds less appealing now.

Can concur, did Stadium Woods for a game last year and it was less than ideal.
One thing that works well for me regarding smuggling. I have these runner's packs that buckle around your waist (kind of like small/skinny fanny packs) and I load them with airplane bottles/flasks, but wear it up under your chest. They can typically hold close to 4-6 bottles a piece.
Works exceptionally well if you're with a lady that has been blessed with a nice endowment. they just tuck up right underneath so you get a nice handful when reaching up for your "Liquid Loud Elixir"
Great for the program to be selling out non ACC games.
Hopefully a lot of the tickets on stubhub get bought....some decent seats at good prices for sale on there.
