2017 TKP Fantasy Football Recap

Hey all I happened across an excel sheet that gives me power rankings and everything else when i plug in the teams and point scored.

Note: Power rankings begin week 3 or 6 I cant really remember, and am in a rush to get these up before class

Couple of notes TONS OF BLOWOUTS this week, and Kareem Hunt + Alex Smith = good, also Sam Bradford got good all of the sudden? I'll believe it when he goes like 4-5 weeks in a row, but still not to shabby of a start. Adrian Peterson looked awkward as all getout in the Saints offense (I'm pulling for a trade to the cardinals!)

Here are all of the teams and scores, next week I'll try to do a better write-up I just have so much going on between this, weekly weather report, and school

Check your score against the league average and if you're above that and still losing expect to be higher in the power rankings which are graded out via points scored per week, opponent record, points against per week,

First up is the stragglers league

First thing that stands out are the massive blowouts in this league, there was a HUGE differential between the winners and losers, will be interesting to see if that evens out as the season progresses. Hint: I believe it will as I dont think Sam Bradford and Alex Smith will be the best fantasy players by week 16. Kareem De ka Creme is an interesting take this week though, he scored tons of points BUT not from the players you'd expect, low output from gronk, rothelisburger, and David Johnson yet he still topped 150 thanks to kareem hunt more than making up the ground

Next up the Regular (standard scoring) league

Lower scoring here and unfortunately no chiefs broke into the starting lineup week 1 so our highest scoring players were Sam Bradford (wut?) and the Ravens defense, powering their teams to some big victories. Team Leedy gets a shoutout for having the most consistent team, with nearly his entire squad breaking 10 points (get it together hunter henry!)

Next up the PPR league

Hands down the closest games in any of the leagues. All of the games could've gone either way (even my toilet bowl as far as week1 scoring goes), and there were some explosive performances along the way. Kareem Hunt and the Jaguars defense (seriously what was up with week 1 scores?) both had monster performances allowing both of their respective teams to put up 150 and 132 respectively. Lots of high scoring in this league way to go guys!

Finally the Auction League

shoutout to the vindictive blitzers for being the top scorer in week1 I do believe. Holy cow, led by the Rams defense (again WTF?!) sam bradford and antonio brown he topped 160 points. (I feel bad for the cannibals who...yeah it was bad). The only other team who came close were the rats vs the Finches, and the rats just couldnt keep up with the finches consistency across the board. For this league we will also be doing a Devonta Freeman watch as one of our players accidentally bid almost all of his money for him (typo cost him his entire team basically).

Devonta - started the season off modestly with 11.9 points in a ppr league

Yeah, it was bad. I got slaughtered and even my bench players who did great wouldn't have helped me against a 169 point opponent.

Not gonna lie, picking up the rams defence was just dumb luck on my part because I didn't like the cards matchup. There's no way I match that output again.

Also how has it not been said yet? 169.... nice

Thanks for putting all this together Eshiben. You are a gentleman and a scholar

Love this breakdown, pls continue but make it so that my team wins

This is cool, interesting to see other leagues/results. I do think the power rankings chart is messed up in the stragglers league though. The numbers don't seem to match the PF like the other 3 leagues do.

ME Class of '16
VA --> AL
I'd rather be golfing.

those arent the actual power rankings something else will be added in a few weeks

Taylor, looking desperately throws it deep..HAS A MAN OPEN DANNY COALE WITH A CATCH ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FIVE!!!!....hes still open

Fellow TKP PPR league mates the following Oats are available for trade: Cohen, Allen, White, and Murray.. open to offers of all kinds.

I'm still not over what you did to me Week One. NO TRADES FOR YOU

if it makes you feel better I lost week 2 by 1.7 points and had 3 guys on my bench go for 17+ points.

It does temporarily, but then I look forward to our rematch in week 9 and I have 7 (3 of my top 4 picks) players on bye.

oh man I have yet to look past week 3, projected to get RKO'd (+11.9) by Slye's Touchbacks

We need to find a bookie willing to take bets on some of these lines.

The Official TKPPPR Showdown of the Season ended in a result that anyone could have predicted:

Pie>Cake

hate to say it, but these two teams are not even comparable talent-wise. Sorry Team Cake.

Holy Blockbuster, Batman, that Julio trade in PPR is crazy

I want to spice things up too. Anyone/everyone, shoot offers over to the Pie Eaters, no is one off limits.

I just checked it out, and Good Lord, that's crazy.

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

We don't love dem Hoos.

yeah, probably offered a little much with Evans, Landry AND White, probably should've offered Evans, Landry OR White but when one gets Alvin Kamara on FA was feeling generous.

I love to shake things up and my other trade of Hogan, Cohen + Pryor for Adams + Bryant was a Go for it move.

Glad that people are open to moves and have fun with this.

Yeah I thought about it for a while and White sealed it... RB help is much appreciated. Lynch has been a big disappointment so far. Landry will also step in and help, by relegating Cooper/T. Williams to the bench.

Jones has more potential than Evans but I'll take that risk to get small upgrades in other places in the lineup.

I'm looking for a RB/WR/flex type

Wet stuff on the red stuff.

I'm in a hole that I can't figure out how to get out of unless I gut my team. Just mediocrity everywhere

Anyone else enjoying the Spanish feed that's echoing behind the broadcast of the Steelers/Jags game?

Ill trade someone Brees, and Cohen, or Brees and a player to be named for a WR1. Im in the PPR league

Just lost Beckham. RIP all of the Giants offense. haha

ODB was the only player I had drafted before I typoed my way into a max-bet for Devonta Freeman (Auction League, tried to bid $40 but either it picked up 400 or 440 and maxed out my bid so I only had $1 left per pick).

I'm probably not going to finish as well as I did last year, but It'll be fun trying.

of course I score 140+ points this week and I still lose by alot

"Welcome to the Terror Dome." -- Corey Moore

hey it happens. im guessing the other team had Gordon and Fournette?

when you lose by 2.4 points and see Big Ben with only 2.6 points.

This was the first week when my starters actually performed like they should. I had one week when my 8 man bench had more points than the nine starters did.

For those in TKP Regular, I have Matt Ryan available on the trading block for those looking for a QB

Shame on me for buying a ticket on the Latavius Murray hype train

May we all get what we want and never what we deserve.

Team RealDiehl dealing blockbusters left and right, first Matt Ryan for Chris Thompson now DeMarco Murray for Stefon Diggs. Whoever wants to swap around star players make your bag man offer
