Early Heisman Love

Looks like Cam Phillips is getting some early heisman love for his production so far this season with one voter. Good press for VT. Go Hokies!

Hopefully Cam can ball out against Klempson, then he'll really receive some Heisman love.

Only WR on the list. Fire up that Biletnikoff hype.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

He'd be the first WR Desmond Howard. That's crazy. Would be neat but I'll be shocked if anything pans out.

I have no idea why my username is VT_Warthog.

Arkansas blew a 24-0 lead in the Belk Bowl.

Remember that Howard was a return man too. Tough to be a straight receiver, but he is killing it right now.

I give Cam about 0.0000000000000000001% of winning the Heisman.

Cool, so does everyone else. It's still dope to see him getting the love

Saquan Barkley is going to run away with the Heisman this year

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Rightfully so. I haven't seen a back with that kind of balance and change of direction since David Wilson.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

As much as I love(ed) David Wilson, Barkley is in an entirely different league.

Is coronavirus over yet?

Agreed, it's just the first time I recall seeing that kind of remarkable agility since Wilson. The most recent Heisman winning running backs were bruisers with outstanding OL play in front of them.

Barkley is a monster. But he can't get spun around on his head only to not go down and pick up more yards like David Wilson did against Marshall

He did hurdle an Iowa player about 4 yards behind the line of scrimmage turning a sure loss into about a 10 yard gain.

"What kind of person would throw away a perfectly good dog?"

I don't think I've ever seen Barkley lose 22 yards on a red zone run either though. Pros and cons to that kind of running.

VT Class of '12 (MSE), MVBone, Go Hokies!

You just had to go there, didn't you?

I've never seen Saquon Barkley do a backflip...so.....

IMHO he looked more like a stacked Reggie Bush in the way he kept Iowa on their heels all night. Well into the 4th quarter he was turning negative plays into positive yards and creating holes that didn't exist. I think you will see a lot of the jump play on 3rd down where he got hit in the air before he landed, kept his feet and got the first down. That is like Lamar Jacksons play from last year, it makes great replay.

He's unbelievable

I got to see Saquan play in person in PSU's first game. He's an animal and lightyear's better than anyone else on the field. Seems like a decent guy too. Definitely think he wins if he stays healthy.
