Great move by the staff. We wore a similar ribbon in the Russell Athletic Bowl (2012) vs. Rutgers after Sandy Hook.

Interesting to point out that those helmets had the same tapered (reversed Denver Broncos) stripes as our current helmets, along with the 2014 Military Appreciation Day/Military Bowl white helmet and the 2015 'Black Out'/#ThanksFrank black helmet.

An Awesome job by by our equipment staff, but anytime I see teams do this it always reminds me of this scene from We Are Marshall

...That's what Maryland does.
