Have a day off out here in Phoenix...finally. So pumped to watch ball all day.
Besides watching the Chop Cut Blockers vs. da U, I'm excited to see how the Red River Rivalry plays out this year, how Purdue does in Madison against the Badgers, and am going to keep a close eye on the Utah-USC game. Also hoping that UVA and UNC both lose while playing each other.

What a dumb turn of events. Cuse got called for a tick tack offensive pass interference after a td catch and next play Cuse rb fumbles and clemson takes it for a td. 14 point swing of course in favor of Clemson.

Wow, does this remind anyone else of our game against Syracuse last year? Really bad officiating, Dungey getting away from pressure, Clemson D stopping them on 1st & 2nd down, then giving up a big 3rd down play. Dungey even got hurt and came back in. Just brings back lots of bad memories. On a separate note, I'm about ready to turn the sound off, because Mack Brown irritates the dickens out of me.

Meh, from what I've seen we're a team on the rise, but not natty title caliber quite yet. We can sneak a conference title and/or a bcs bowl win if we get some lucky breaks though, and certainly either one of those would give us something to hang our hat on. If Clemson loses this and NCSU runs the table, I like our chances against them in the ACCCG better.

I don't think remote chances are all ended. Still better odds than 2007 I think. GT, Miami, and potentially one-loss Carolina representative in Charlotte will keep us moving up the rankings and SOS.
Edit: chance to jump at least a spot this week on the bye, maybe more. One loss ACC champs with spotless ooc record, and (in this scenario) no loss to Pitt, could be better than last years Clemson.

Any coach who not once but twice that I've witnessed live chases down a special teams kicker to berate them isn't cosching them. Add to that his attitude towards being pulled over for speeding and then other incidents of his high/low personality towards others and yes I don't find him classy. If Dabo likes you he is the greatest thing since sliced bread, get on his bad side because of a perceived wrong and he treats you like dirt.

Are you part of the kickers union or something? You picked a weird ass thing to harp on. He was probably telling the kicker "If you had the guns of Joey Slye like I told you 6 months ago to get, this wouldn't be a problem!"
Ehh...just my opinion. I think kickers should be yelled at more.

I said it before a couple of weeks ago: what Cuse did to us last season, WE should've done to Clemson when they came to town. Turns out Cuse ended up doing it to the BOTH of us. How the fuck do you defeat something like that (I know it's possible)?? French? Mason? Somebody?

At the Louisville-BC game. One of my wife's former teammates who works in the athletic department hooked us up with some pretty awesome seats. Hot as dick though. They played Enter Sandman right before kickoff, nobody jumped #UnHype. First time seeing a Heisman live, so that's neat. AND THEY SELL ALCOHOL IN THE STADIUM LET'S GET BOMBED.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I remember seeing Manziel live, before he won the Heisman and thinking he was absolutely ridiculous. It's when TAMU came to Shreveport to play LATech...very fun game.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
To be fair we'd already lost to Tennessee, we didn't come into the season with any hype, and our best win up to that point was a borderline top 25 UNC team.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I'll add that while I'm pretty confident Bama will be undefeated going into the SECCG, I think UCF or USF might be the next most likely teams to be undefeated. I'd give Penn State about the same chance as TCU as both have big games remaining. Wisconsin has a favorable schedule avoiding OSU and Penn St but I can't see them finishing undefeated (or winning in the B1GCG). Georgia has been impressive but has some potential trap games leading up to Alabama. Miami has been insanely lucky and several big games so I would be shocked if they stayed undefeated.

Kind of already known, but Louisville is not amazing outside of Lamar. Give him credit, he stays in the pocket far longer than 99% of amyone else with his athleticism ever would, seems to desperately want to make throws...just not much to throw to. Defense isn't great, but BC's offense, obviously, is baaad.
Overall, Louisville is a kickass town. A football town, however, it is not. I'm sure the NC State loss put a damper on some of the enthusiasm, but damn this place is quiet.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Yeah well they're putting some up on Louisville. Happy wife happy life doesn't work out too well when she's bought in hard to her alma mater and they play like dogshit. 8hr drive damn near for naught. Thank god the food out here is out of this world. (Whenever 2076 rolls around and we play out there I'm designating myself as a contact)

UT goes to 3-3 after not being able to get in from the 2 yard line on three consecutive plays. Butch Jones seat is a new level of hot. Road trip to 'Bama next week doesn't bode to well for him.

I read an article the other day where an ESPN writer followed Butch's wife around from Friday evening before the Georgia game through until Sunday night after they got stomped, just putting a story together about how big time college football and winning/losing effects coaches families.
I did feel genuinely bad for the kids in particular, just how she shared that they get lit up at school by classmates when their dad loses.
I understand that's part of the deal when you accept $$$ and our coaching at the top level, but some people just take this stuff way too seriously.
But he is in trouble

I know Harbaugh is a heck of a coach, but they are overrated af. Would love to see them drop a 2nd game before they even get to their two hardest games
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
It's weird, because much wasn't expect of them before the year started, based on how many players they lost last year. But after beating a clearly bad Florida, ESPN has been hyping them up
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
They're also super talented, so the hype was real. From what little bit I've watched of them, they've got a lot of talent but they're super sloppy and lack execution as a team.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I was pulling for Miami so if we beat them we are their first loss, however, after that onsides kick I'm so disgusted with their bs I just want GT to smash them.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Went to the Army football game today, if you ever get the opportunity to come to West Point for a game do it a very unique game day and a beautiful stadium and background.
Also why can Miami never sell many tickets it's empty as crap again?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Man, this is the first UNC game I've watched this year. They are so SO bad. Particularly on offense and at the QB spot. Goodness. UVA looks a lot better than they have in years. Not world beaters but they look like a competent team for once.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Concerned about both Miami and GT. I think we'll have to win out to win the division this year. If GT seals this win I don't know who besides us may beat them.
Miami is still decent this year they are just playing this stupid offense. And GT is GT and always does their thing but will never amount to anything with that offense.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Both GT losses have involved them blowing a lead. Also the announcers are saying it's like the old times and feels like the Orange Bowl. So Da U must be bak?
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
I'm so glad MD has floundered since leaving the ACC. I hope they keep doing it forever and ever.
I think we have GT this year and I think the miami game will be close. I don't see us getting smoked with the remaining schedule, but maybe I'm just overly optimistic.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
GT didn't really impress me that much today, had chance after chance to put Miami away and could only manage 3 offensive pts in the entire 2nd half. French thinks we match up well with Miami so I'll take his word for it. Nobody else really scares me enough to think they would smoke us, but maybe that's just me

This season feels weird. Teams that I'm not sure are that good are winning games, teams I thought were at least ok are getting trounced, only one team is really play well every week, Bama and even they didn't dominate in their last game.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
Clemson should still be in front of us. Washington will go either way, not sure if voters will hold a bad loss and weak OOC against them or value their top 5 ranking and success last year (even if they're not supposed to). We should definitely be in front of Washington State and Auburn.
My guess is 13 but wouldn't be surprised with 12. Would be pretty nuts to regain our pre-Clemson loss rank within 2 weeks.
Log in or register to post comments about the Virginia Tech Hokies
It may just be me but the "U" has not proven to be a top 15 team. They haven't played anyone except for duke, but they are on a slide. The game last week and this week have come down to the 2-min drill. This is probably the best part about miami.
But then again I see us as being right where we belong or are just a little overrated. We need some experience and adversity, which we got with the loss to Clemson. We need to beat UNC handily to start to prove we belong. Glad we won the bye this week!

Clemson is a hell of a good football team but fuck me do they get lucky a lot too.
Bryant isn't healthy....
Not at all, and it makes the team look completely different.
Sup with these refs? ...oh right, they were shitty last year when we played there too.
Dang. Bryant just wasn't moving for a while there
Pretty sure he was unconscious there
He was out cold.. you can tell by watching his arms and hands relax as soon as his head hit the ground.
That looked very similar to the way I landed during a hockey game in high school and I was knocked out instantly
it's called the fencing response
You rang?
I'm surprised they let Bryant walk that off
If he's done, and he looks like he should be, the ACC is wide open again
Can't embed tweet from my work computer, but there's a pregame video and tweet from David Hale with Kelly Bryant dancing around.
Kelly Bryant jogging, dancing, looking like the ankle won't be much of an issue.
Rightttt....
EDIT: This is in reference to the tweaked ankle, not getting knocked out. Don't want to sound insensitive if I am.
Wow, does this remind anyone else of our game against Syracuse last year? What game was this last year you speak of? But...yes, it does.
fuuuuck, that shit is on Dabo. Kelly shouldn't have been in - in the first place.
Yep that's completely on Dabo, shouldn't have had a kid who could barely move running that play.
I'm guessing he knew his backup could execute against a good blitz.
Side note: the more I watch interviews and listen to Dabo, I really like him. He seems like a very respectful stand up guy.. makes it hard to not like him.
At the same time, why is Bryant even playing today if he can't jog without limping?
He isn't.

my feeling at the time was it was a pass/punt option. if the fake isn't there he should have pooched it. just a hunch though
my feeling at the time was it was a pass/punt option. if the fake isn't there he should have pooched it. just a hunch though
I agree. Always about him. He's a Saban wannabe.
OT - Envious of anyone who gets to live in MB.
If Bryant is out for an extended period, that might indeed change the ACC race and the National playoff picture as well. Who is Clemson's next game against? I heard them mention that they have a bye week next, but who do they play afterwards.
GT.
They have a bye and then play at home against Team Chop Block on the 28th.
On an unrelated note to Clemson, does anyone think Cal can take down Washington State tonight? They may have to wear respirators for this one with that air quality.
Definitely not seeing the acc trying to help out Clemson with some garbage calls
its amazing syracuse is attacking clemson really similarly to us with success, tunnel screens and then hitting them over the top. the plan was there clemson just played a better game and we didnt execute quite as well. Syracuse matches up with clemson a lot better too tbf
I think Clemson was overlooking Syracuse, to be honest
Having an imobal QB followed by an inexperienced one seemed to have slit to do with it too, but boy did that game highlight the whole at big guy to win jump balls for us.
Can't be a QB turning a busted play into a long run against a good team? That only happens to Bud.
That Jiffy Pop Dome will get after ya
I'm really enjoying watching Clemson struggle against Syracuse. ACChaos isn't just in the Coastal.
Bring back the ACC wheel of destiny?
Can't decide if I want Clemson to win. It would be great to rub it in my buddies face, who I took to the VT game. Then again, a highly ranked rematch with them in the ACCCG is our only way to the playoffs. (I know that's a long shot)
I vote chaos.
Meh, from what I've seen we're a team on the rise, but not natty title caliber quite yet. It looks like Clemson is going down in the Carrier Dome.
It's fucking cursed
Where the hell was this Clemson team two weeks ago????
Syracuse is such a classic trap game. They're not a bad team, they're incredibly dangerous on offense, but they're just bad enough to be overlooked. Get that offense with a few lucky breaks early in the game, throw in a hurt quarterback, and suddenly it's a football game.
I can't wait for more klempsoning questions directed at Dabo.
I'd ask Dabo if he taught his son to hold balls so he could make the team. But I'd probably not get a follow-up question.
Best way to walk on to a college team is to learn to long snap well. Skilled HS long snappers are few and far between.
New Dino Babers locker room speech of the year. Ours may get resurrected, but the one from last night will definitely get the most airtime going forward.
This result just frustrates me more that VT was never really in the game at home against Clemson.
Ended any remote chance at the playoffs as well
Honestly I'm glad we won't be in the playoffs. This team just isn't ready yet. I'd rather go to the playoffs with a more experienced team. If we went this year we'd risk looking like tosu last year
I'd take getting the does clean off in the playoffs over winning the Belk Bowl any day of the week.
I don't think remote chances are all ended. Still better odds than 2007 I think. GT, Miami, and potentially one-loss Carolina representative in Charlotte will keep us moving up the rankings and SOS.

Well... That changes things
I suddenly don't feel so bad about losing to Syracuse last year
Hm...I do
I still do. Fuck 'Cuse, fuck Baberz and fuck the Jiffy Pops Dome.
Which is bak first? Clemsoning or Da U?
hopefully Klempsoning. They have the lead, but can they keep it?
That Dome man, it'll get after ya.
The dome strikes again.
via GIPHY
...why not us, man
Because...us
CHAOS IS BACK
Chaos? This guy says I got you FAM
Clemson played Syracuse in the dome...on Friday the 13th.
...the fools.
Exactly what I was thinking. And it's October to boot. I wouldn't have even started the bus up. I'd have called in scared.
#goacc ?
#GOACC.
The one upside to the ACC scheduling we only have to play in that dome once every 12 years.
Only Syracuse can make us look bad on a bye week.
And as we all expected, the Atlantic sees NC State on top, FSU near the bottom, and Clemson losing to Syracuse.
Somewhere, in a dark storage room in Bristol Connecticut, a lowly intern pulls a cover off of a dusty ACC Wheel of Destiny.
I already checked to see if we can do the circle of suck yet, but there's enough teams that have conference records with a 0 in them.
When would it gather dust? It is constantly spinning.
Syracuse came out with an aggressive game plan and attacked all night. You can't win if you play scared.
My family rode that carrier dome student bus after the Mcnabb throw-up, then pass into the end zone game. I know how Clemson feels right now! Ugh!
That game is like eating a bad radish...it keeps coming back and leaving a bad taste in your mouth.
The carrier dome where dreams die!!!!!!!!
I think Bud performed some sort of a voodoo ritual and transferred the curse to Clemson.
Well, Clemson pulling a Clemson and losing to the New York pile of Oranges really hurts our chances at the playoff.
Glad I came home from the breweries at 10:30 p.m. to catch the end of that one/s
We officially picked the best possible time for a bye week.
This is starting to look like one of those chaos weekends. Wazoo struggling with Cal.
Spooky Friday the 13th
This just makes me angrier
The Cal QB just did a flip into the endzone.
Reminded me of Vick.
That shit was amazing
Looks like #8 is going down too. 12 minutes to go Wash St is down to Cal 27-3.
I can't believe how well the Cal defense is playing. There's definitely some luck involved but even without it they've been amazing.
ESPN has it postponed on Thursday and scheduled for Saturday...fake news.
It was originally a Thursday night game, but with the rescheduled hurricane games this game got bumped to Saturday so Miami could have the full week between games. That's the story I heard at least
Wow Friday the 13th did a number on Clemson and WashSt. Chaos reigns! Wohoo!
Mark Packer on SiriusXM College Sports said this would be the weekend for upsets, when you have a full slate of ranked versus unranked teams. and damn was he right.
(Up early on a Satruday too I see, HOAT?)
Yep, very early. Woke at 4 and checked scores.
This was classy by Dabo (click).
Dabo is a class act. I know some people do not like him, but from what I can tell, he is just a good person.
This, Dabo may have some moments but he is nothing but class and as far as I can tell a pillar in the Clemson community.
He is also the same guy that signed autographs for fans while being pulled over for doing 60+ in a 35.
Sometimes he can be classy, but other times he can be a jerk. Reminds me a bit of Greenberg to be honest.
He's also the guy who screams in the face of kickers.
He's also a football coach.
And? This wasn't the first time he followed one of his kickers off the field all the way to the bench to berate them. That's not coaching the player.
Right, because no other coach in the history of coaching have ever done that to a player. What a monster!
I understand your position and I can respect it. I think the situations involving the kickers is an odd thing to get hung up on.
I've met him many times and know people who are close to him. He really is overall, a great guy. The speeding ticket thing is one moment. He's a class act and his family are good people. And y'all know I hate Clemson more than anyone on this board.
Is that classy? I think it's really patronizing and obnoxious
Well, there it is. "This Virginia team actually wins when GameDay comes to town."
Didn't they lose last time................?
I'm assuming that's a fan's sign and not an on air comment by Game Day personalities? I haven't had coffee yet so apologies if it's obviously the former not the latter.

Miami should be very afraid today...
Miami will lose today!
I think so as well.
That Dungy kid plays with the heart of a lion. I think when he looks in the mirror he sees Adrian Peterson.
If you haven't before, check out Tiger Net. It is a very interesting message board to say the least.
VT scenes throughout the comin' to your citay intro.
Auburn has been playing better each week since Clemson game.
LSU was shocked by MSU but gutted out a win last week in The Swamp. Still have top 15 talent.
Does LSU rally the troops in the other Death Valley today?
Home field advantage didn't help them against the unstoppable force that is troy... my money's on Auburn.
Btw, I'm sure Auburn joins us in being pissed they didn't play Clemson after Bryant went down instead of before...
Expect more chaos today...our bye week came at the right time!
Does the Clemson loss help us or hurt us with our ranking? We are off today and already 2 top 10 teams lost so I would say we should move up but I wonder if the Clemson loss can make us fall? I would say at worst we just don't move up.

We'll move up more likely because of Wash St than Clemson, I'll bet Clemson doesn't drop out of the top 10. Wash St got hammered so they're likely to fall far in the polls
Keep an eye on Miami.
Is anyone else getting triggered over these JMU signs or is it just me?
Also question of the day: GT or Da U...who do we root for?
I feel like rooting for Miami is better because they are already ranked (and ranked higher than us), it would be a higher quality win, should we win that game.
I say root for GT since they play Clemson next week and most likely will pick up a loss then. Obviously if we just beat them both it won't matter.
Apparently JMUs only claim to fame is beating an FBS school 7 years ago coming off an emotional loss and five days rest.
So, they use the transitive property of a 2010 regular season game plus a 1998 bowl game to make a sign in 2017.
That's just weak.
I've offset the phantom downvotes of the previous two posts. Community Guidelines.
-There was a much better transitive property sign in the crowd that traced down to a win over Bama, if someone can screen grab it.
I saw those. Someone in here doesn't like the JMU posts.
Twitter makes it easy.
And then there's this one that I'm pretty sure I saw in Blacksburg a couple weeks ago, using Clemson.
there is also a sign that would appear like they want an invite to play in Lane again.
Hope people took the over in the TT/Cousins game
JMU and VT both did a great job representing for CGD...Too bad UVA won't be a part of the conversation they would probably have to offer free tuition to a student just to get them to show up.
Regarding my hate for Narduzzi and Heinz Field, I love the Pitt retro uniforms. Definitely one of my favorites in the ACC.
I fucking hate working saturdays, so much. Not as many games streaming on Youtube as I had anticipated. ffffuuuuu

I remember seeing Manziel live, before he won the Heisman and thinking he was absolutely ridiculous. It's when TAMU came to Shreveport to play LATech...very fun game.
I hate how the Syracuse loss last year dropped us out of t25 and it's just a "mulligan" for Clemson
To be fair we'd already lost to Tennessee, we didn't come into the season with any hype, and our best win up to that point was a borderline top 25 UNC team.
i don't see anyone going undefeated
Alabama, TCU and Washington have a shot.
This post didn't age well.
Heat update: ass of my pants are a different shade than the front. #SweatyButt #SwampAss. Wouldn't happen at Lane, you know...standing all game and whatnot.
West Virginia about to catch an L, and make our SOS take a hit.
I don't think SOS matters much for us this season, but BC may even it out a little here.
Not so fast my friend!
BC's tight ends may make good pros.
BC 28 UL 21 2:28 3rd. Louisville's D is worse than BC's offense. Damn. Fans beginning to boo.
I don't think theres been a team that hasn't put up a bunch of points on them this year. I'll have to check.
Yeah well they're putting some up on Louisville. Happy wife happy life doesn't work out too well when she's bought in hard to her alma mater and they play like dogshit. 8hr drive damn near for naught. Thank god the food out here is out of this world. (Whenever 2076 rolls around and we play out there I'm designating myself as a contact)
lolouisville
Good LordAJ Dillon has a stat line against LOLouisville and there's still 12:00min left!
UT goes to 3-3 after not being able to get in from the 2 yard line on three consecutive plays. Butch Jones seat is a new level of hot. Road trip to 'Bama next week doesn't bode to well for him.
Paging Butch Jones....where are you buddy?
Filing for unemployment, probably.
But he is in trouble
..boston college with 42 points against Louisville. ...I never doubted you Bud.
Scott Loeffler is a genius!
WVU with 39 points, the lead, and time left in the 4th quarter. Again, we love you Bud.
Wow. They mounted a comeback...
Don't look now, but it looks like Louisville has caught BC...
Mostly because BC can't catch Lamar Jackson.
How do we watch the uva game? Not showing up on the watch espn app
I'm watching it on NBC Sports Washington (on Playstation Vue).
Close game alert! Louisville has a pulse! AS I TYPED THAT IT'S A TURNOVER FUCK
We beat a pretty good WVU team folks.
Y'all the ACC is much worse this year, we gotta capitalize.
3 seconds left, BC has the ball, 27 yard field goal.
BC WINS!
I don't hate Addazio today...
I'm so happy we had our bye this week.
Me, too.
Crazy weekend for football.
Michigan going to OT @ Indiana.
I know Harbaugh is a heck of a coach, but they are overrated af. Would love to see them drop a 2nd game before they even get to their two hardest games
It's weird, because much wasn't expect of them before the year started, based on how many players they lost last year. But after beating a clearly bad Florida, ESPN has been hyping them up
I wouldn't say there wasn't much expected of them. They started ranked 11th
They're also super talented, so the hype was real. From what little bit I've watched of them, they've got a lot of talent but they're super sloppy and lack execution as a team.
Fuck Harbaugh and his fucked up nerd glasses. He's like 50+.
With how wacky college football is this weekend, I have never been so happy to be on a bye
TBH, I love watching the triple option when it's not against us...
Same. I enjoy watching Georgia Tech against everybody else, and I consider it a healthy rivalry.
So far, Miami not looking very bak.
"What a throw by Taquan Marshall!"
It wasn't that great, announcers. Calm yourselves.
I'll be honest, that GT game has me more worried than any other remaining game.
I worry about all of them. It's the ACC.
I hate UVa.
I really hate how Mendenhall calls TDs and first downs instead of waiting for the refs to call it.
And I hate when UVa gets a lucky break. Even if it's against pathetic UNC.
UNC might finish the year with just one win.
I guess theyre vacating wins because the NCAA is too chickenshit to do so themselves
Big game in the coastal here kinda pulling for GT so Miami has an acc loss
Miami tries an onside kick, GT returns it for a TD... Miami had all the momentum before half, all gone now
That was the strangest onside kick I've ever seen.
I was pulling for Miami so if we beat them we are their first loss, however, after that onsides kick I'm so disgusted with their bs I just want GT to smash them.
There was some holding on that Zaccheaus run (# 9 got held), but North Carolina is tackling-impaired.
Went to the Army football game today, if you ever get the opportunity to come to West Point for a game do it a very unique game day and a beautiful stadium and background.
Also why can Miami never sell many tickets it's empty as crap again?
The Army-Navy game is a lot of fun.
Blackledge with the phrasing call of the year in the Red River Rivalry
"You're not allowed to pull a guy, but you can push a guy!"
Man, this is the first UNC game I've watched this year. They are so SO bad. Particularly on offense and at the QB spot. Goodness. UVA looks a lot better than they have in years. Not world beaters but they look like a competent team for once.
I'm really going to be pulling for BC next week.
Concerned about both Miami and GT. I think we'll have to win out to win the division this year. If GT seals this win I don't know who besides us may beat them.
Miami is still decent this year they are just playing this stupid offense. And GT is GT and always does their thing but will never amount to anything with that offense.
They gotta play Klempson. We 100% should be rooting for GT.
There's a razor-thin margin for error in the ACC this year.
LOLUVA wins by sacking Brandon Harris via un-called facemask.
Wow.
The refs robbed Carolina on that play. Clear facemask.
Interviewer: "Coach, this could have been anybody's game up until the last few moments. What was the difference for your team today?"
Mendenhall: "An uncalled facemask."
If any team deserves to lose in that fashion, it's UNCheat.
Poor UNC gotta feel what it's like when the rules aren't followed.
I wondered why it wasn't called, but that makes sense.
Woooow I don't know Ben Swain but I'ma have to find that guy and buy him a beer
Did anyone see the "non targeting" no call on the fsu D back? They dont have a clue what they are doing.
Yeah.
I have to admit, the application is far from uniform.
Is Auburn about to go down?
#10 goes down
Good lord we picked a good week for our bye.
It can't be said enough.
Good lord we picked a good week for our bye.
This week has been 2007 level spooky.
Fuck Matt Ryan.
Wow that Miami catch to save the undefeated season. Assuming they make the kick.
I think that Miami WR has a lucky horseshoe shoved somewhere...
I hope they are just about out of luck.
Both GT losses have involved them blowing a lead. Also the announcers are saying it's like the old times and feels like the Orange Bowl. So Da U must be bak?
mu luck actually the receiver had great concnetrattion.
I don't know who I hate more #bakU or team chop block, but I'm glad we have the possibility to play undefeated miami. Also fuck PJ, fuck pat narduzzi
Well Miami won so there's that
GT actually had a good run there on that kickoff. Would have been fitting to win on two kickoff mistakes.
Miami is only going to have one ACC loss this year. We better not slip up against anyone.
Anyone else think we are going to get smoked by a couple of ACC opponents?
Md Blows! Really in all aspects.
I'm so glad MD has floundered since leaving the ACC. I hope they keep doing it forever and ever.
I think we have GT this year and I think the miami game will be close. I don't see us getting smoked with the remaining schedule, but maybe I'm just overly optimistic.
I still can't believe the Big10 wanted them.
They didn't want Maryland, they wanted Maryland's TV market.
Maryland has a TV market and do they know that?
Everyone is beatable, in my opinion
GT didn't really impress me that much today, had chance after chance to put Miami away and could only manage 3 offensive pts in the entire 2nd half. French thinks we match up well with Miami so I'll take his word for it. Nobody else really scares me enough to think they would smoke us, but maybe that's just me
The Coastal is totally ours for the taking if we want it. It's just that we could also totally dork it up.
Reminds me of some of those old sayings:
"Sometimes you get the dork magic. Sometimes the dork magic gets you."
"When you look into the dork magic too long, sometimes the dork magic looks back."
"Well, when you're playing good dork magic, it's good dork magic and if you don't have good dork magic, then you're not really playing good dork magic."
Da U bak?
Da U Lucky.
Tell ya after we play them.
Calculating...
Da fuq?
I shoulda taken a bye week from betting. Thanks for nothing Auburn and Oklahoma. At least NC State put in the late TD...
Amaking there appears to be more fans at the Virginia State vs Bowie State game than both Miami/GT and UVA/UNC
I can't embed from my phone. But looks like VOLS AD is meeting with the media tomorrow.
https://twitter.com/VolkenVol/status/919342367848763392
@VolkenVol: The University of Tennessee has announced that Athletic Director John Currie will meet with the media tomorrow at 1PM EST.
...But what about the memes?
r/CFB says it's a false report
I thought that was awfully fast, even for them. Where is Butch Jones? Maybe he knows.
It is.
I would very much enjoy having the AD say to themselves:
"Well, I guess we could go with that. Sure, 1 PM works."
This season feels weird. Teams that I'm not sure are that good are winning games, teams I thought were at least ok are getting trounced, only one team is really play well every week, Bama and even they didn't dominate in their last game.
Maybe it is 2007 level of chaos again.
It's been fun so far
Currently at 5 ranked losses for the week, with Southern Cal trying to make it six. Tomorrow's poll is gonna be a mess.
Maybe I'm not football savvy enough but I've yet to watch a game where sam darnold played anything like a competent quarterback
That's what makes him so attractive to the Jets.
If you're referring to his 3 fumbles tonight then yes the jets are a perfect fit
WHAT A SPIN MOVE BY THE UTAH RECIEVER HOT DIGGITY!!!
San Diego State down early in their game.
And Utah with one of the dumbest decisions to go for 2 instead of take the pat and tie the game
Yea I don't get everyone saying it was a good call.
I don't necessarily disagree with the decision, but the worst execution. WR was wide open, but QB was going to run the entire time.
If anyone else loves the Pac12afterdark like I do, Arizona St is beating #5 Washington 13-0 with 8 minutes to go.
Another one bites the dust.
four top tens down in 24 hours. We should move up.
A chaotic weekend has a crazy way of shuffling the deck. The "U" was one lucky tip away from being among those that fell. Utah almost upset USC.
This year feels like a down year for CFB just overall.
Man, I thoroughly enjoyed this weekend. Every minute of it.
