I too voted for UNC because getting back to Charlotte is the ultimate goal, but losing at home on a Thursday night would be a huge bummer. I look forward to a 10 hour tailgate and a big win for our last home game of 2011. I'm also confident that our team will bounce back and get it done in HotLanta!

I would rather lose to GT and sacrifice the division then lost at home at night again (UNC) and/or lose to UVA. I honestly don't think we could get past clemson in charlotte regardless so ACCCG or not, we'll end up in atlanta for the peach bowl. So given the choice of the lesser of three evils, I'll take the road loss to a very talented team.

I voted for UNC because I have witnessed, firsthand, a loss to them already. 2009 on Thursday night. Actually they vacated those wins. So wait, they didn't win, and neither did we. I also took off work, bought a plane ticket and hotel room in DC for my visit. How about some reparations for that? Maybe pay for my visit this year on Nov. 17th. I may eat my vote as I have traveled back to watch the Hokies twice since moving to Seattle, 2 losses. This will either be my last visit ever or when I get home, my wife will have hired Butch's tutor to help me on a computer security certification.

Gotta be willing to throw rivalries away for the division; however, I don't ever want to lose to UVA (though the streak will end at some point). We NEED the GT win to put a stranglehold on the division. Can get both- I am willing to swallow the pill of losing another one, at home, on a Thursday night (which I will be attending) to setup the division championship showdown in Hooville.

I'd suffer through another Thursday night UNC loss if it guaranteed us a spot in the ACC Championship game and rematch with Clemson. Losing to Virginia just isn't, nor will it ever be, an option for me. If I had to only pick one to win it would be Virginia. Credit to the Hoos, they are recruiting better, but I think they're close to their peak, there's more space for them to fall back than there is to ascend. The best way to knock them down is to keep beating them. Eventually, London's "we're building something" line will fall on deaf ears.

You jokers who say losing to the Hoos is an option are funny. I mean I am guessing thats a joke, right? I'm with Joe, losing to UVA just cant happen and losing to GT pretty much puts us out of the Championship Game. I will be at the UNC game, but I would suffer through a loss if it gives us another shot at Clemson. If you think we don't have the talent to beat Clemson, you're wrong. Teams have been putting up points on them and we can score as well. Our offense had their worst game of the year and our defense held them to 20 points when we played them earlier this season. I like our chances WHEN we get that rematch.

uva or gt would be bad for winning the division.
UNC with 3 conf losses, is all but out for the division unless mass failure everywhere.
