State College, PA- Late this morning Dual-Sport Athlete, Nathan Grella released his Top 4 colleges. The Class of 2019 Athlete's top 4 include the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Regent University, Penn State, and Virginia Tech.
Nathan Grella in the past 2 years playing Ice Hockey has netted one goal, 2 assists and 5 shots. His second sport is Ultimate Frisbee. The 5'9", 181 pound Back has a 73% completion percentage, 20 goals by pass, and 29 Goals in total. He is rated the 14th best Pennsylvania Ultimate Frisbee Recruit and is ranked the 583rd best Forward in the state in Ice Hockey.
He spoke briefly on the different colleges on his list-
Virginia Tech- Ever since I was a kid it has been my dream school, however it is extremely expensive so I am not sure if it in the best fit for me. I know that their Frisbee team is pretty good and I would love to see myself playing for them.
Indiana University of Pennsylvania- I absolutely love the school, however, the campus leaves something to be desired. I really like how close to home it is and the talent of the Ultimate Frisbee team. I recently visited and they really showed I was a priority for them.
Penn State- They have been practically silent throughout my recruitment, but they are a fantastic college. It might depend if my Mom gets a job there or not, but right now they are on the outside looking in
Regent University- I really like their chances. Being on the Beach is huge, and I like being able to be a starter in both sports early on. I think I will be taking a visit there near the end of the summer and we'll see how they move up
Grella is thinking about pursuing a career in Communications and Sports Marketing.

As of February 14th VT Ultimate is ranked 14th in the country, and after a big 4th place finish at Florida Warmup in Tampa this past weekend will probably climb a bit.
VT Burn is now ranked number 7 in Ultiworld's power rankings, (AP poll) and 10 in the USAU rankings (BCS Computer).
But what is our quidditch ranking. The masses need to know!

as a 2014 comm graduate, it pains me so much that I missed out on his time there! Legend. And everything I see coming out of the department in general looks amazing.

We used to play pick-up Ultimate on the drillfield a few times a week...back in the early 90's. Ahhhh...wish I could do that again. Enjoy the process young man!!
Did the same in the Miles Quad. That was an interesting field to play on...
I actually played ultimate for Columbia high school in maplewood nj in the early 80's. Thats where the game was invented in 1968, coincidentally the year i was born.

If it's Regent, I'll see you in the Chilled Ponds beer league. I'll be the guy twice your age that sucks at hockey but still plays anyways because it's more fun than a gym membership and there's a bar at the rink.
