Believe I saw 21 reps for Joey Slye
Don't expect a lot from reporters. Most are out of town covering NCAA tournament for Tech, LOLUVA and Radford. And local football guys who are there aren't being allowed very close.
Jeff King is now a scout for the Bears.
Last I read Xavier Adibi is also a scout for the Jets I believe. Though they do bounce around sometimes so he could be elsewhere.
Jeff King with the man, the myth, the legend... LMFK.
Lester Karlin.
Like that time Jeff King willed us in a win over #1 Duke by D-ing up Sheldon Williams

VT 67 Duke 65
There are GM's and at least one NFL Head Coach at Tech today. That's a good sign especially with there being other pro days they could be at.
Yessir, and all 32 NFL teams are represented via scouting staff of some level.
Keep the damn Redskins and their incompetent nonsense of an organization away.
-Sincerely, a Redskins fan
Mike Tomlin is there, apparently to check out the Edmundi bros
Wow, when was the last time we had a head coach on campus?
Between Beamer and Fuente, I'm pretty sure there is always a head coach on campus.
this guy

I'll give you a leg, but I'm not happy about it.
cam running routes is good to see for him.
tim on the cone drill looks like he doesn't know what to do with his hands and looked a little slow but he will always look that way lol
moto looked quick on the cone drill and in his 40
maine looked fast but to high on the cone drill but did show off his hands with a nice one handed snag
ill keep updating as I see more. this are just my opinions and not those of an NFL draft expert (unless youre talking about fantasy)
The Raiders and the Panthers GM's are in the Beamer Barn watching the drills.
I can feel the new Edmudi Jersey already, hope he is still there at #10
BOOOOOOOOOOO
Damn I did not realize my wifey had a tkp account....
C'mon Hurney, it's been far too long since the Panthers have had a Hokie on the roster.
Any known relation to today being pro-day and having so many recruits in this weekend?
I'm confident that it is 100% coincidence.
/s
Pretty sure NCAA cracked down on recruits at pro days after USC turned it into a recruiting fair and show.
Maybe croots aren't actually at our pro day, but I'm sure it doesn't hurt to have the team staff able to drop "Yeah Mike Tomlin was here on Wednesday" into a discussion
Well...that might actually hurt us.
it was a pretty quite day on the social medias today as far as coverage. I hope this is not a glimpse of the spring or its going to be a longggg off season.
The rumor mill is this is exactly how it will be.
How
doesdid Facyson look today?About like this
you sir got an audible laugh out of me.. touche
Got me too. Take your legs.
Anyone know what teams scouts attended?
Scroll up
ALL OF THEM!!!
I was checking out some of the free chatter earlier and it looks like Timmy had another rough day. Supposedly a Bengals scout was running a drill and kept making Tim redo it over and over. This of course got him pretty tired pretty quickly and evidently he was having a tough time as a result. The rumor is that Hilgart wasn't very happy about it and actually had to step in and stop the workout.
Was it that strenuous a drill or did Timmy let his conditioning go that badly?
Honestly not sure
Hilgart was not happy with Settle or the Bengals scout?
It looks like the latter
I mean, conditioning goes a long way. Maybe the scout was trying to see if Tim had the lungs for it.
In the old days your coaches wanted to see if you would quit. You quit you get cut. Sounds like Timmy dug deep and kept going. Get the sense that old school guys will like Timmy.
Send them this picture:

You know what... Big Timmy may get drafted late, or worse yet go as an UDFA. But at the end of the day, a team will pick him up and I really think he will find a place. It might not be with the first team he's with, but the kid comes out when the lights are on. We've all seen it.
Not to mention, he seems like a great kid to have around.
Not in agreement that he will get drafted late or anywhere near an UDFA, but if it did happen that way I wouldn't hold back on pointing out that Timmy had 2 more years he could have waited to enter the draft. Saw it ruin Jerod's career last year and it'd be very sad to se someone with as much potential as Timmy get screwed because of a decision he made to jump ahead in his career.
Jerod made over $300K based on being signed to a roster off and on. Not sure it ruined anything for him.
...really? I mean, that's awesome money, but when the general consensus is that another year playing big boy ball would have improved his skillset and draft stock, can we really say declaring early didn't ruin anything for him? I mean, that's like saying you saved money because you only spent $30 at Kohl's on something they pretend normally sells for $100...
Not this again.
It's something that we need to keep talking about so nobody falls victim to Kohl's shady marketing tactics.
Oh, this goes WAY beyond Kohl's...
[insert conspiratorial gif here]
I got irritated enough at a Kohl's where nothing is actually at a listed price I don't shop there.
Is that the general consensus? I must've missed that memo.
