Does anyone know how good Fordham is? I can't seem to find any information on seeding for the WNIT, but I'm assuming since we're the home team we're a higher seed.

I have worked WNIT games in years past. Not sure exactly how they do the seeding for the opening round, but their committee wants to make sure there's a good crowd/following out of the possible matchup. If in the previous round, both home teams win, previous game's attendance plays a huge part in who hosts that matchup. If it's 2 road teams that win, a team that has hosted in previous years and had a solid crowd is more likely to get the nod.
Of note, the Radford ladies beat Penn St. in the opening round before falling to JMU. JMU travels to WVU for their round of 16 matchup.
Shout out to Coach McGuire at RU. Great guy and a great coach.

The WNIT is played on home courts throughout - I thought the same thing.
Furthermore, seeds don't matter in the WNIT - it is based on attendance, bids, tournament history, etc. So come out for Alabama so that we get a home game for the semis, which could be WVU.

I should point out that he at least put the location and time.
Dealing with a two year old that vomited 10 times between 8 am and 4 pm. Sorry it wasnt up to my normal standard.
You have my condolences. That is not a fun thing to deal with.
Really they don't even get a regional channel for a sweet 16 game in the WNIT?
Hokies win 81-50
Wow. They never even led. Way to keep your foot on the gas, ladies.
Yeah, hopefully Buzz & the team are taking notes.
I regret I have only one leg to give.
Way to go Hokies!!
