Love dig at LOLUVA at the end of the article. Although I am not sure if its biggest upset in college basketball history anymore (although one of the teams is still the same.)

This should help recruiting, nice trip to Hawaii in your future if you sign with Tech...

Plan for the worst and hope for the best, not the other way around.

Unbelievable. Buzz is a damn shaman, we're not worthy but I'll take it.

Rip his freaking head off!

What a tournament that will be, Kansas and Michigan State. Give us both of em back to back games we got this

here's to hoping we play Chaminade early, to prove to the commonwealth its possible to beat them

Don't sleep on Chaminade and home court advantage. They have never won the Maui invitational, but who knows, 2018 could be their year.

Chances Buzz wears an Orange and Maroon flower print shirt?

The Dude Abides

The amount of money I would pay for such a shirt is obnoxious.

I'll borrow it from you!

As a Big Island resident - this makes me very happy! Also, I used to live in Maui and played a ton of hoops on that court. So excited.

As a Lynchburg resident, it took me a minute to realize why a Big Island resident would be excited about a tournament appearance n Hawaii...

I found TKP after two rails from TOTS then walking back to my apartment and re-watching the 2012 Sugar Bowl. I woke up the next day with this username.

My wife and I are in the preliminary stages of planning a whole trip around this tournament. Always wanted to do Hawai'i anyway.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

I think my wife would kill me if I planned a big trip to Hawaii and we went to a basketball tournament.

Hawai'i is old hat for my wife. She's been there with her family before. If we do go I don't plan on being in the gym more than 2 hours at a time anyway.

That being said I have a great appreciation for the situation I find myself in.

The Orange and Maroon you see, that's fighting on to victory.

I've always wanted to go to Hawaii. This is as good an excuse as any. Too bad all the sa,e reasons that I have never gone before are still keeping me from going now.

Sometimes we live no particular way but our own

We are going to Hawaii, yay!

If anybody's on the fence about going, GO!

Lahaina (the town in Maui where the tournament is held) is one of my favorite places on Earth. Costco Travel generally has good packages for flights and hotels/resorts (wife and I stay at the Royal Lahaina and love it).

If you do one thing other than watch the Hokies, go to Haleakala Crater to watch the sun rise. If you do one more thing, go to Ululani's Hawaiian Shave Ice (and get the homemade mochi on top).

I just snagged a $365 round trip Delta flight to Hawaii out of DCA for this summer.

Deals come around every now and then.

Considering we can't find a flight from DCA to Kansas City this summer for under $300/each this irks the crap out of me.

How many games is each team guaranteed?

Three

Is there any update on the timeline on when HokieClub packages and tickets will be available

And of course anyone have an idea for how much to budget for this trip from Blacksburg p

A lot (this coming from a guy who's going to Maui for his honeymoon in October).

Flights alone will be at least 1000 a piece.

Fuck

I'll be in Hawaii the first week of November.

I had completely forgotten about this when we booked our trip, otherwise I would have tried to get the wife to schedule a few weeks later. Lol
