There are 100 days until Virginia Tech football plays at Florida State.
There's a myriad of memories the Seminoles may evoke. From Tech's national championship bid being busted up in the Big Easy, to the Hokies wrapping up an undefeated conference slate with an ACC Championship. But for me, my brain is always drawn to third-and-31.
Perhaps because it was arguably Tyrod Taylor's first Superman moment. Cue a 1940s newscaster: Able to overcome conservative play calling with a single rush!

"Third down and... thirty-one."
"Thirty-one."
"That's a long way."
"That's a long way to go."
That's a broadcasters' tag team of dismissive hand wanking motion with regard to first down conversion.
Taylor begins 5 yards in the hole and then proceeds to pickup 38.
From the sideline angle, watch how Taylor delicately weaves his way through box. The collision of the two FSU defenders towards the end is the cherry on top.
