In this weeks six pick, BCO asked us to list what beverage we will be enjoying during the game. "Easy," I thought. "Bulleit all the way!" The past two games I've downed a rather large amount of Bulleit and after the games I turn into Bulleitdozer and go on drunken twitter rants and make videos.
As I had mentioned in the "What do you drink on gameday" thread, I pick a bourbon to start the season. If I don't like the way we are playing, I switch it up to improve our fortunes. I started off with Makers 46 and it left me with one loss and two too close for comfort wins. I switched it up to Bulleit for the GT game and invited a non VT couple over to watch the game with me and my wife.
Naturally I invited this same couple over again for the UNC game and we polished off the last of the Bulleit. It goes without saying I will be buying another bottle of the same for the Pitt game, and I already invited the couple over.
I just found out my wife is invited to a wedding shower at noon on Saturday.
I am trying to convey to her that breaking a tradition that has brought us 2 wins RIGHT BEFORE WE PLAY A TEAM THAT HAS A TRADITION OF UPSETTING US is a bad idea.
Please, tell me your current superstitions so I feel justified.
