Hokie Thunder Tailgating
is the name of our group. http://www.hokiethunder.com (not much information for now) you can also find us on Facebook. We will be arriving around 6:00-7:00am for those of you who want to meet up we are rendezvousing at the Wal-Mart just west of the stadium beforehand.
We were going to keep the menu on the simple side and the liquor, beer, music, and partying to the complex side. Right now - Beef Butt Tenderloin, Burgers, Brats, Taco Dip, Buffalo Chicken Dip at our location.
Going to be cold. Looking for some nice fire pits too.

I have tickets in hand, but still trying to work out the details on where I will park and when I will get there. Last year we parked in the Duke Energy building (400 South Tryon) and it was easy getting in and out and walked around the tailgates. I will try to join up with your crew.
@schaef0418 & I missed the boat on the parking passes for 118 but I managed to snag one at 510 S College. Will have the kid & parents with us but we are going to try & still make it over.

Wish I could make it down there. Was planning on it, but way too many circumstances beyond my control are keeping me in Jersey. So I bought a 12 pound piece of pork today, gonna smoke it and have a couple of compadres over. I shall be there in spirit with every sip of bourbon y'all take!
I'll be leaving VT early Saturday morning, So I should be there by 11 am at the latest. I can grab (somewhat classy) beer and snacks as needed. Since this lot is full, where would be a good suggestion to park?

Well, the VT Ticket Office has sent my ACCFCG tickets to the wrong address. Now I am in a scramble to get my tickets before I leave on Saturday. Unbelievably (not sure that is a word), the address they were sent to was my wife's old address from 5 years ago and the current occupants are high school acquaintances. My wife received a FB message last night, "We have some mail for you...looks like VT tickets."

Pretty Bummed I'm Not Going to be There
It sounds like it's going to be a pitbull time. Safe travels to everyone heading to Charlotte.
This winter I am going to putting together plans for next year's tailgate, tentatively scheduled for FSU. If this the is the second unofficial tailgate, the first being Wolf and BCO in CLT last year, then next season will be the first official one. It's going to be sponsored, there will be food, there will be beer and we're going to find a charity and hopefully raise some money. I dropped the ball this year, I won't next year. More details to come later.
