Seahawks and Brown Agree on Extension
3 year, $36.5m contract extension which will take him through the 2021 season when he'll be 34 years old. Not bad for a high school tight end turned NFL OL.

He was a high school TE. That gives Tech three recruited TE's in the league as of start of camp.
Crap, you're right and my memory was wrong. Moved from TE to OL at VT and never looked back.
I see there will be no post title controversy here 😜
I should have titled it "Get that money Lineman"
Da ca$h mahnee!!!
Given how bad Seattle will be this year, they need to pay somebody to protect Wilson. Glad it was Mr. Brown
He may outlast Pete. That team is about to go down in flames like his late USC years.
If he had only run the ball one more time they might have given him more leeway.
Obligatory post:
This is the common refrain by fans on the internet, but the personnel package both teams were in made a pass an advantage, and the game clock/downs situation made the pass logical choice from a clock management perspective. Jermaine Kearse whiffed on a pick, Ol' Russ put the ball too far in front of Ricardo Lockette, and Butler made a tremendous play. Incredibly unlucky by Seattle, but it's only judged as a terrible paly call in hindsight based on its outcome.
All that and he didn't even switch to QB
