While I hate to kick someone when they are down (well, actually, I do if it's LOLUVA), if this story is true UVA seems to be regressing. Yeah, I understand that a kid has 1,000+ reasons for choosing a school and program, this is still a stunning turn of events.
The closing paragraph sums things up nicely (though, I believe that the "FBS" is a typo and should be "FCS"):

Well, they did just pick up a dual threat 3* QB from Florida (Robert Harvey Jr.) who most programs wanted to be a running back, for what that's worth.

Well, Elon has more winning seasons in the last six years than UVA does, so I don't blame him.
Elon has beat their rival, Furman, more recently than 14 years ago. (Last year actually.)
And I bet they aren't breaking paver stones at practice...

I'd love to pile on, but this guy was a 3 star and only had FBS offers from Air Force, Kent State, Army, and Virginia. Not a huge miss by them and, for all we know, it could have been a situation where Bronco told him it wasn't a committable offer. Who knows? Maybe beggars can be choosers.
