tyree rogers moved to safety. not sure if that's new news or not.
coach Mitchell: caleb Farley was a "borrowed wide receiver" last season. sounds like it was always the plan to move him back to corner that it was only a move of need.
Mitchell on DB's: I've got 5 guys that I am very comfortable with.
Bryce watts says caleb is the fastest DB. with all the track guys in that room. they are going to be flying around. excited to see them for the next couple years. hopefully create a ton of turnovers like the great VT defenses did and turn those turnover into house calls.
Ladler looks like a beast. Do we have the Hilgartification on him?
Ladler is a guy with a lot of talent, was highly rated and sought after before being injured at the end of his HS career at IMG academy. He may not have ended up at tech and would've been more highly rated if not for that injury. I've always rooted for him to be a stud on defense.
Deablo is a trip - that guy just seems like he has fun playing in DBU.
Yea he's really well spoken too. He did great with the interview/media.
Mitchell saying he has 5 guys he's comfortable with is music to my ears. Foster and co. are never shy about saying it if they are still looking for dudes to step up.
I wonder if it's actually just "comfortable enough" - yeah they are consistent but we can't do too much with them. We know what we'll get from them. They just need more seasoning etc etc type of talk.
They always need more seasoning. I view it as he has 5 guys he will/would put on the field in a game.
