I mean.... Nationally, we are completely overlooked right now. I can't really blame them for that, they've been clamoring for Miami to be bak forever, and the Canes finally tickled their teat last year, so its all about da U this year because hyping them sells subscriptions to people reminiscing about how great football was back in the 80s and 90s. But B-R is also not wrong here...
If you have a QB in the ACC, you already have a leg up on the competition. Luckily for us, it appears we have multiple, with Jackson already being game ready with important experience. We beat FSU, we have 3 weeks to work out the kinks everywhere else, and even then, our toughest tests on the season are at home, where we are a difficult out even for the best of the best. They're not talking about us now, but win in Tally, and cruise to 4-0, you're looking at a possible Top 10 team going into the conference slate, heavy on the Lane.
We will see how real the QB depth is if Jackson gets dinged again, and plays virtually every important snap anyway. We will see if Fuente trusts Willis and Hooker more than he did Bush because according to many, the "rumor" was Jackson could barely walk or lift his right arm the last 6 games of last year. We shall see.
Bush was brought in to be a stopgap backup to allow ourselves to get back onto a "quality starter, quality backup acting as understudy, quality prospect redshirting" schedule that was interrupted when Evans declared. We were hoping we could keep Jackson healthy through the season to not have to lean on the backup, but that plan backfired in the Miami game.
Thankfully, we're back on schedule, and should be fine moving forward.

Oh I completely agree we are under the radar, granted that'll be sorted out by the time the clock strikes zero in Tally. I guess some of the teams they listed had down years last year, but are perennial contenders in their respective conferences, so I just don't see it as an under the radar pick. Teams like Michigan State, F$U, and the Longhorns don't really classify as under the radar in my book. Maybe it's just me though. A down year doesn't push you into obscurity, especially when you're one of those notable programs. I'll take Iowa, but Michigan State? I mean they are 3 years removed from the CFP.
Yeah but when it comes to Mich St, their 'prestige' has been surpassed this year by Ohio St and Penn St being the assumed play-in game for the B1G playoff entry. If MSU sneaks in this year, I don't think you'll find many people who won't think its a bit of a surprise. Same with Florida St, VT, or even Miami with the way that Clemson has been dominating this league in recent years. I'd say all those teams are under the radar just because of how much of the spotlight is going elsewhere. (Seriously, how many people are you hearing already say Bama, Clemson, and Ohio St are practically already in the playoff, with the first game 3 weeks away)

TBF - Bleacher Report has stepped up their game. After they got bashed for those dumb slideshows and anybody can publish anything stories, they went out and hired some pretty good writers. It still has issues, but what publication doesn't these days?
The Athletic and Roanoke Times seem to be impervious to controversy or issues
Just figure out a way to beat Georgia Tech.
