Man what a tough break for a kid with a huge future as a player. But glad to see him stepping up in the coaching game.

I gave Kyshoen a ride to the practice facility one afternoon when it looked like it was going to storm and he was walking to the bus. We talked the whole ride and I could just tell that he was genuinely a good person and we only spent 5 minutes together. I know it wasn't something he would remember but I was happy just to get to talk to him for those 5 minutes. It sounds like other people feel the same way.
I bet he does remember. I still remember a woman giving me an umbrella in a downpour like 10 years ago. I wouldn't recognize her today but I still appreciate it. Kyshoen probably feels the same way.
In that game the Dallas RB was leading with his helmet and knocked two DB's out of the game (Kyshoen being one of them). I don't understand how Ref's can be so trigger happy to throw a flag on a defender, yet allow a ball carrier to engage people with what appeared to be malice. Dude was head hunting. I guess offense sells tickets.
I hope he has a long career in coaching. He is a model citizen, son, and brother.
I hope he has all the success in coaching that he was going to have as a player before his injury.

I have been following Kyshoen's progress. His injury is truly heartbreaking but how he has handled it is truly inspiring.
