Hokies whos dads are in football?

Had a discussion yesterday regarding Luke Tenuta. As many of you know, Luke is now a freshman offensive tackle for us and his father used to be the defensive coordinator at UVa.

I think a huge selling point for future recruits is that we have gotten a lot of former players who come from football families. It speaks to the level of respect our coaching staff has within the football community.

Off the top of my head: Cody Grimm (Russ Grimm, HOF O-lineman), Chase Williams (Gregg Williams, DC for the Browns), The Edmundi (Ferrell Edmunds, Pro Bowl TE), Danny Coale (Jimmy Coale, strength coach at VMI) and Josh Jackson (Fred Jackson, former longtime RB coach at Michigan).

Can you think of any more?

Kyle Chung (Dad was/is with the Eagles)

Edit: Terius Wheatley's Dad, not sure how we forgot about him.

The Warren brothers (Blake, Brett, and Beau I believe) are the sons are former Redskins TE, Don Warren. They played early through late 2000's.

Bob: What would ya say ya do here?

Brad: I already told you! I iron out the minutiae so Justin doesn't have to. I have people skills dammit! What the hell is wrong with you people?

Shane Beamer - Frank Beamer
Terius Wheatley - mentioned elsewhere
Kyle Chung - Eugene Chung
Justin Hamilton (I seem to remember rumors that his dad was Art Monk)
If I'm not wrong, Jake Houseright's dad, Bill, played at Tech.
Alston Smith - Bruce Smith

Knew this one from memory:
Billy Hardee III (now professionally Dr. Abraham Hardee), son of Billy Hardee Jr. (VT HOF)

Just learned these:
Coleman Fox, son of Rich Fox (VT FB under Beamer)
Dalton Keene, son of Wes Keene (played DL under Beamer and Foster at Murray State, roomed with Charley Wiles)

No, I *don't* want to go to the SEC. Why do you ask?

For Billy Jr., Abe is the middle name.
For Billy III, Billy is the middle name.

Gouveia-Winslow's dad is Kurt Gouveia and played for Washington, Philadelphia, and San Diego in the 80's & 90's. Now they're both coaching at Brevard College per wikipedia.

Probably his best play for us.

A decade on TKP and it's been time well spent.

oh man, I totally forgot about the hyphen. I kept waiting for him to finally transition from liability to anchor for the secondary and it never really happened.
