I figured this would be case barring some level of off field intervention. Francois by the end of 2016 was miles better than Blackman ever was last year.

I just checked Francois' stats and I was expecting him to be a better runner. It seems he's a better passer. We could be in a for a long evening.

That is true. From what we know their O-line is not very good. Even with Mihota in limited duty we may still get pressure on him. I think the inside of our defense, though inexperienced, is faster and bigger than we have seen in a long time. This really may come down to their receivers vs. our corner backs. If our corners can cover in one on one I fell confident we can shutdown their passing game and have our other db's cheat a bit on the run.
potentially our D line won't be very good either, at least in this first game. Even if all Hewitt does is generate push it would be an upgrade over his performance in last year''s opener.

Their offensive line is a weak link, and you don't necessarily need experience to blitz the hell out of someone. Here's to 8 sacks and a win at Doak in week 1.
You can blitz yourself out of position with bad gap integrity which does take experience... I'm hoping you're right.
