Study finds cheese can save yo' life.

"Cheese and yogurt were found to protect against death from any cause, and also against death from cerebrovascular causes, like stroke."

I can't stop watching this. Primarily because I think my own reaction would be identical.

I think this is one of those weird tangent factoid strings. Enjoy the ride.

I was too drunk to put it together. Once the Dad comment came through it became clear that I was being (understandably) mocked.

This might be my new favorite thread.

This is great news! Cheese is great. I love cheese even though I am lactose-intolerant. Fortunately, I can still consume as much cheese as I want as long as it is aged (cheddar, monterey jack, gruyere, brie, etc.) as the aging process consumes most, if not all, of the lactose. Also, those little lactase chewables work pretty well for non-aged cheeses so pizza can be consumed without regret.

As for yogurt, in theory the lactose should be consumed by the time it becomes yogurt. Unfortunately, a lot of yogurts you find in stores are now "blends" where they mix in milk or other non-cultured milk products. Reading nutrition information is very important. Even then it is really difficult to find true "yogurt" that isn't at least contaminated with milk or non-cultured milk-products. So I just make up for my lack of yogurt intake with more cheese.

Interesting stuff, but all I can think about after reading your comment is just what the fuck is up with Smithers and Burns on the ceiling.
