Asking for a friend, after being way too amped to go to sleep promptly when the game ended, and having to wake up at 5 this morning for work... how are you guys staying awake?

Doing the tomahawk chop helps get the blood flowing.
Nothing too outlandish, just a nice cup of coffee to get the day going
You only need that little cup to keep you awake? I get mine by the oil barrel full.
About to drink my first cup of coffee, but talking about the game and college football in general is keeping my energy up right now. Long way to go.
Reading game stories, texting Hokie friends, and reading FSU schadenfreude.
The amount of salt from the FSU coaches, media, and fans is quite Narduzzi-like. Taggart gave VT ZERO credit for their effort in his post-game presser and one of FSU's columnists for Warchant TV (Corey Clark) said that Virginia Tech faked injuries "75 times." He made me laugh when he brought up how Ohio State won the natty after Tech beat them in 2014. Ya, keep telling yourself that.
This is a comical and cringe-worthy analysis by two media homers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0qhb0CJTPHY
Hey, Free Shoes!

Still durnkt

Watching the highlights on continuous loop.
I have already pounded a 5 hour energy and on my 3rd cup of green tea. that fucking 5 am alarm came way too early. About to head to the gym to offgas the rest of the bourbon...
Living in a different time zone.
^^^This!
Just moved to Albuquerque and already loving the Mountain time zone benefits. Gamedat start at 10am and night games end by 10pm!!
Same, ..and it only gets better next year when the family relocates to the west coast!
I'm a temp so I'm in between assignments. Sorry bro
It's 7:50 and on my 4th cup. My UVa fan sent me this; "FizzU looks like they have found themselves their very own Mike London replica. Bad uniforms, bad helmets, bad dance before the opening kickoff, and bad coaching all night. VT beat them like a rented mule." It will keep me awake for a few hours!!!
Coffee and Nole tears will sustain me.
generic Costco 5 hour energy and "The Greaseman's" "5 Minute Workout".
Hobble. Du. Ga. Gaaaaaaaaaaa!
Just finished a Red Bull and now I'm going rewatch the game and touch myself.
Reading the fam thread and game summaries. That and coffee, lots of coffee...
Just as several have said up here: coffee. All of the coffee. I look rough and I have a frog in my throat and it was all worth it
THIS IN MY VEINS
Also extra coffee.
Wait, what's sleep?
Just remembering we won 24-3!!!

40 oz of Diet Coke to start.
-fixed that for you sir.
and 2 zig zags?
I cannot fucking wait to get to Blacksburg on Friday.
Forget waking up... I don't know how anyone got to sleep after that game. I was wide awake for another two hours purely on the excitement. I hadn't even been drinking any caffiene.
Adrenaline is an amazing drug! lol
Told my work I'm staying home because my dog is sick. Really I'm just sick as a dog.
I'm awake trying to understand ESPN's breakdown of the blocked punt. They repeated that the player who actually blocked the punt is the only player that can run into the kicker, and maybe that's the rule to the letter of the law. However, one could make the argument that the second player (I believe it was Quillen) was simply blocking the kicker to set up a return (a successful return). BTW not much is being said about Kumah despite him scoring two TDs last night.
Not to mention the fact that replay showed almost no actual contact. He essentially slide under the punter. It looked like significant contact, when viewed live, but not much when looking at replay.
If he was a premier leauge soccer player, fsu's punter would have gotten at least one yellow for simulation (the punt carrol took back to the 20). And maybe two, I haven't seen the replay of the block closely enough yet.
I watched the replay a few times, and Quillen made slight contact with the punter's feet as he drew them upwards, but he really slid right under the punter. Had there been significant contact, the punter would have landed on top of Quillen.
made it back from tally around 330am. got to work at 8am. no voice. eyes barely open. but damn it was nice to take over Tallahassee. sitting at my desk like.... still got my VT war paint on but added a little touch up to my eyes
PT with sprints folllowed by a cup of joe and then...back home. Well timed leave.
Bout to have a keto coffee just for relaxation & recovery purposes.
work? I took the day off (hopefully)
...as far as you know...
If not, you might have a few days off in a row...
haha....well, I was getting calls this morning asking where I was from my boss. I told him to check his calendar because he accepted my meeting invite for my PTO today.
Just prop your head up with both hands. When you nod off and either jump or someone wakes you, softly say "Amen".
Gonna be a struggle today. Just sitting down for a concrete testing certification course. Pray for me.
know your aggregates...
...I actually have no idea, I just wanted to feel like I was helping.
Solid
A 64 mile commute and a big cup of irish breakfast tea.
And painted eyeballs over my glasses so no one can tell I'm asleep.
Such an underrated movie.
DEBBIE!!!!
It is estimated that bears attack 2 million salmon a year. Attacks by salmon on bears are much more rare.
CAF by BRCC
Seriously, I swear by it for days like today... may go for a second tervis full soon.
Waiting on my Freedom Fuel to come in. My first order.
Me too. usps says it should be here around noon.
Cocaine is a hell of a drug.
Actually right now it's just coffee and some diet dew. But it aint working too well.
DAMN!!! I guess I have to drink.
I had 2 Propels before bed, and 2 this morning + coffee...
My old college roommate and I chatted on the phone about the game until 12:30am, it's going to be a long day ahead.
4 kids waking me up at 5:45, a HOT shower and now headed to my first class at the new school. I might fall asleep during it though it's Math.
My problem is that it took me a couple of hours to calm down so I could actually go to sleep last night.
Slept in as late as possible, working from home and reading TKP all morning!

All the spelling mistakes in that hashtag, whoo boy.

...but filled with coffee, and a 8oz of sugar
I was as excited as the next person, but I was able to fall asleep around 12:30 and get a solid 7 hours of sleep.
... Probably because I didn't get any sleep the night before
toddler woke up at 1am and wouldn't go back to bed til 2am. kids are up for first day of school at 6am, so i got a 1 hr buffer from the boss to get them on the bus. made it to work, on my first cup of coffee
Let's just say it's been way more than 4 hours and I don't plan on seeing a doctor
Btw, anyone still hungover as of now (about a qtr past 12' pm EST)??
It's 2:50 and my eyelids are getting heavy.
I rallied through listened to the Coachcast Megacast thing...that just ended and I feel like I've hit a wall with just under 2 hours to sit here and pretend I'm doing anything half way productive.
Slept in til 11. Although I didn't get home from Tally until 5:30am but it was worth the lack of sleep and no voice today. Also, not having to go back to work until Friday helps too!
I highly recommend retirement, then you don't have to worry about getting up.
However, as the saying goes, "growing old isn't for sissies"
I heartily concur. The alternative however....
5 hour energy, maybe 500 hour energy. Drank a whole 6 pack.
The congratulations of my NCSU coworkers have been sustaining me thus far. My favorite comment was that we made FSU look soft. Because we did.
Long night to get back to the hotel from Doak Campbell then early flight back to DC this morning. Def not the most productive day at work ... have been chugging caffeine and taken a few short walks to battle heavy eyelids...
Constant movement in Kindergarten. The tired didn't hit too bad until I got home this afternoon... Planning on calling it an early night
