Some of my early ACC football and basketball memories are of Mike Hogewood with Jefferson Pilot Sports. Too early. RIP

Damn. That sucks. Was he sick? He's one of the first things that pops into my head when you mention ACC. I have fond memories of being a kid and the cool teachers letting us watch the ACC Tournament during class . He was the face of the ACC.

RIP Mike. Thoughts and prayers to all his friends and family

Prayers for his family. Really liked him.

Didn't know the name but know the face. He's long been the Voice of the ACC in football and basketball, and had no idea he was in bad health. Very sad, condolences to his family and community.

Damn, way too soon. Always enjoyed his broadcasts, as he was the voice of ACC Sports.

I always remember noon ACC games when I was a little kid and hearing him on the call (lots of Duke-Maryland, WF-NC State matchups). I loved getting to hear him doing the pregame when the Hokies moved to the ACC. Of Course he's the voice of the ACC Tournament as far as I'm concerned too.

Man, I remember as a young kid when he used to be on Monster Jam with Scott Douglass. He will always be a part of my childhood!

I went to my first Virginia Tech bowl game while I was in the womb.
