Do we have unofficial names for our uniform combos?
What about stuff like:
- All White: Storm Troppers (I think I've seen this one on here before)
- White Maroon White: Woreo
- Maroon White Maroon: Moreo
- All Maroon: Maroonsoon (play on Monsoon)

I think All Maroon for football is already covered by AME (all maroon everything). The best play on Monsoon would be Monsoon with Maroon in front, which is already used by the basketball program. These just my opinions.
I think I'll need to see the "Wareo" on the field again today before I decide how much I like it. I like the Hokie Stone print in the numbers, very subtle. The white helmets with pants kind of odd, but doesn't turn me off or anything.
I like these unis, mostly. I used to hate the shoulder stripes cuz I thought it looked incongruent. Then they added the stripes to the helmet which made them slightly less bad. Still not great. I think what they've done with the stripes this time around is a step in the right direction too. I like the fresh angled look. It's unique and recognizable. I still think the shoulder stripes would look better if they tapered like the helmet stripes. One thing that I noticed during the fsu game was that the pattern around the neck on the back of the jersey looks pretty sloppy and that is currently my only real gripe with this set. The uniforms are improving slowly year over year. I think there is a strategy to the slow evolving shift but I have been okay with the progress so far. I think we're heading in a good direction regarding our look on the field.
I really liked the way the uniforms looked from the opposing QB view. When the defense lined up and leaned forward, the helmets blended with the maroon neckline, and that combined with the slanted stripes on the shoulders gave a intimidating, downhill look to the player. It just said, we're coming after you.
So, in other words: yes, I approve of the away uniforms, and I can't wait to see the maroon and the orange jerseys.

Are those helmets matte white, or is it just the image?
Pretty sure it's a semi-gloss. Should be the same ones we wore last year.
I actually like calling it Woreo and Moreo.
